you gonna check out a show of Bryan Adams, there's only one thing
coming up to your mind. this man must do something right, whether you
like his music or not. No, he doesn't have a spectacular lightshow, no
costumes, no special effects. There are only five guys on stage in
jeans and black T-Shirt, and the rock the hell outta themselves and
the audiance. And damn the ballads. Bryan Adams once started out as a
rocker twenty something years ago,- he's a rocker now and he will be
one in twenty years time. So let's take it this way, "Have You
Ever Loved A Woman", "Straight From The Heart" and
"Everything I Do.." were and still are helpful to push the
popularity of Adams. But deep in his heart, he still is a rather heavy
sunnyboy rocker. Proved by the fact of his joy to play and spreading
his energy onto 12.000 people right here and now following the motto:
he came - played - and won. He's got the whole audiance under his
control and plays such a straight and simple Rock'n'Roll, that it
almost hurts... Not to soapy, not to heavy, just the right mixture, so
teenagers like it as well as ourselves, as our parents and even
grandparents. We call it Happy Go Lucky Sound with a straight
guitarriff, topped by the uncomplicated attitude of Bryan Adams. |

Cradle Of Filth
okay,
okay... I know, I'm much too late again and shame on me, - I missed the
first support and half of the second one. But there's still enough time
left for a brief magic spell about Moonspell, who are sending their
messages through the mystic dark aura to the many gothic Black
Metal fans. The portugiese guys transmit their image truly via the music
the produce not so much via the visual aspects. I mean, compard with
their collegues of Cradle of Filth, they seem like choirboys in a
catholic college. Moonspell already enjoy some kind of cultstatus within
their fan circles, and they keep on building on it constantly. It won't
take much longer, and the band don't need to play supportslots anymore.
But for now, the southern rockers have got to heat the gothic cryptic
audiance up with a dead sad mimic in the sense of alchemistic - let's
wake up from The Dead - topic. |
