Subway To Sally

Winter
and Snow - it's pretty, as everybody knows. But not tons of white foam,
which is spread over our heads during the first song. Yeah, true, it got
something to be honest and impresses the aprox. 1.500 fans. Only one
person is suffering, and that's me, trying desperately to save my
baby from the white death. Then as everybody knows, nothing is worse for
digital cameras than every kind of dampness and wet. And I wanna take
some more shots in the future. So I battle up there in the front on my
own in the photopit against the white liquid to the suitable song
"Schneekönigin" (snow queen). So this first track I need the
time completely to save the camera, but I got the time of two more songs.
And I get another 100 shots of the band. The slogan once again is - back
to the future from the ancient middle age time. This german band Subway
To Sally are going this way for quite a few years now. And the trend is
more popular than ever before. Though I'm not quite sure where I am
right now, because of at least 3 frontrows of screaming teenie girls,
who squash each other almost to death. I haven't experienced that many
fainting fans for a long time and I stop counting them at no. 21. The
question - why will never get an answer. Because Subway To Sally ain't
no boyband or anything like that. And there's even a female in the group
named Frau Schmitt. Whether they are attractive or not, it doesn't
matter anyway. The strategy to combine german lyrics and rockmusic and
play it with old fashioned instruments, at least a few of them are so,
is their way for many years now. |

| To
be honest, it's not my personal thing. But what ever Subway To Sally do,
they do it very well and still with a lot enthusiasm. a fanatic audiance prove the popularity including a few faintings more. Over all, the band is an institution of their stylistic, and they surely will be going on for some more years, at least what's up to Germany. Viva the middle age, but please with today's comfort. |
