Zwei die sich augenscheinlich gut verstehen..

Orchestres Monuevres In The Dark sind wieder back again. Und hoppla, - das sind sie wirklich, mit mehr Power als jemals zuvor. Das hier sind die wahren Abräumer des Abends mit viel Bombast, - Orchester gewöhnt - und noch mehr Bewegung. Wie mir Andy McCluskey später bei der Party gestand, reicht seine derzeitige physische Kondition gerade mal für diese 12 Minuten hier. Für ein 2-Stunden Konzert lasse es aber noch zu wünschen übrig. Möchte man ihm bei einer derart explosiben Vorstellung gar nicht glauben. OMD bieten in diesen kurzen 12 Minuten ein Medley ihres gesamten Hitpotentials, angefangen von 'Maid Of Orleans' , über 'Milkyway' bis hin zu 'Sailing On The Seven Seas'. Großartige Popsongs einer noch großartigeren Band. Und jawohl ja, back again mit hoffentlich noch viel mehr guter Musik in der nahen Zukunft. Ich freue mich schon.  

Orchestres Monuevres In The Dark are back again.  And yep, they are back with more power than ever. These guys are the true kings of tonight, used to an orchestra anyway and a lot movement. Though Andy McCluskey said later at the aftershow party, that his condition was just enough for those 12 minutes and he's gotta train a lot more for a full 2 hour show. Within this short while now, OMD do a medley of their biggest hits, including 'Maid Of Orleans', 'Milkyway' and 'Sailing On the Seven Seas'- Great popsongs of a even greater band. And yes they are truly back again, with hopefully a lot more good music in the near future... I for my part - I'm looking really forward to it...

Und nocheinmal Mike Oldfield, der, unterstützt durch Miriam Stockkleys glockenhelle Stimme seine Meisterhits 'Moonlight Shadow' und 'To France' zum Besten gibt. Übrigens jetzt im zweiten Teil der Show wesentlich lockerer und besser drauf. 'Und 'Shadow On The Wall' einmal von John Miles gesungen, hat auch etwas für sich, wenngleich auch John's Stimme lange nicht an das eindringliche Reibeisen eines Roger Chapmans heran kommt. Und siehe und staune, - Mike Oldfield macht sogar eine Ansage...
 
And again Mike Oldfield, who presents us in his second appearance his biggest hits 'Moonlight Shadow' and 'To France' with the help of Miriam Stockley. Obviously Mike is a much better mood as in the first half of the set. And 'Shadow On The Wall' performed with John Miles voice sounds somehow different. But it can't reach the depp input Roger Chapman once had with it. And last but not least - Mike even does an anouncement, which is a rather rare thing for him.

Alles in allem war es dieses Jahr wieder ein durchaus gelungenes Spektakel, bei dem jede anwesende Seele hier zufrieden gestellt sein dürfte. Und ein Großteils des Publikums hat sich, wie all die Jahre zuvor, an diesem Abend schon wieder die Tickets für das nächste Jahr gesichert. 

Over all, it's been a well done concert again this year. And everyone in the audiance is going home pleased and happy. Whereby most of them are going to buy thier next year's ticket already tonight again - like ever year - again again and again....
