& Revolverheld

..... and BossHoss for the third time within one year. But to be honest, you can't get enought of these Buffalo Bill meets James Dean and Elvis Presley german seem alikes of the local Country Rock culture. Because everytime checking them out, is somenthing special, though the show itselves hasn't changed much in the meantime. And it hasn't got to. 'Cause it's the music doing mainly the talking and let us dance along a sort of raindance of the iroqua, kiowa or what ever tribes -  and swing the invisible lasso. Yeehaa, that's how it should be.

So whatever has not changed within the performance, the setlist reads certainly different than last time, 'cause it now includes songs from their second album 'Rodeo Radio' as well, which just came out one month ago. And in my opinion, the new CD is even better than the first one. Yeehaa again! You find some selfpenned tunes but also a whole lot of coverversions of old classics. And again, BossHoss put a spell on them to make 'em sound magic. Yeehaa, that's right!

if it was up to me, those multiculti cowboys could play for another 3 hourse, but unfortunately they've been given only about one hour to play to make place on stage for Germany's newest teenie boyband 'Revolverheld'. It doesn't neccessarely fit, to be honest, but surprisingly all these girlies in the first five rows who oviously came along for the second act, rock away with Boss and Hoss and the rest of the crew. So in this case, it's got to be the music only, because our cowboys here on stage are not exactly what you call teenager idols. Yeehaa this is great. And the huge response  of the audiance is overwhelming. Howdy, I've spoken!

Whoever might have thought, it can't get more enthusiastic, is definately wrong. Revolverheld haven't even hit the stage yet, but whenever a technician appears in the already darkened scenery, the hell is opening. Finally our german heroes jump off the back, and the big band makes love with the very first day. The noiselevel shoots up beyond critical and faar beyond the milky way. And all the photographers in front in the pit get tortured, what's up to their ears. Pop Rock in german language made by five young boys with cool faces.

It´s a long way to the top if you wanna Rock`n´Roll, - the slogan AC/DC have created a long time ago. And those new generation has adopted it, even their music doesn't have anything in common with the legendary aussie rockers. Revolverheld go on nor for about three years and get supported a lot from MTV, which is a big advantage for them right now. Revolverheld are:  Jo – Vocals, Kris – Gitarre, Niels – Gitarre, Jakob – Drums, Flo – Bass, - all in their mid twenties, which is pretty old for a boyband. But these guys up there, don't look at themselves as such a thing anyway. 'We are a band who rocks' they say, including baseball hats, 5 sizes too large pants and a Bermudashorts, which is the total opposite to, what we call - sexy lingery. And last but not least it's there good boy student hairstyle - not really reminding us at a rocker's image.

’Die Welt Steht Still’ (the world stands still) is the title of their biggest  hitsingle, and at least 500 souls within this tend here, sing this tune along with. BossHoss fans only, have left the place already or just stand outside in the evening wind, enjoying a cool beer, whilst our kindergarden inside, don't show any mercy and gets cooked in the heat of the next generation rocker combo. The best place is the spot next to the soundengineer in the back, where a neat screen is placed on the desk, showing the worldchampionship soccergames. Pure luxury. Brazil beats Australia 2 : 0 with a hell of a luck. Sasha thinks, Revolverheld  are entertaining, (the question is, in what way?) but he'd never buy a record.

Dorothee takes a her photo equipment and leaves, and before the magic is finished, I do the same, without cowboy hat, but with the knowledge, I'll be back for more - BossHoss....and a big Yeehaa
