“We are Motörhead, and we play Rock’n’Roll’. – It’s as simple as that, and that's for the past 30 years or so with no change at all but a huge thunderstorm. It starts with Lemmy's overwhelming beauty and stops at his favorite boots. Yeah maybe he did exchange them over the years for a new pair, because 3 decades are a lttle too long for a pair of shoes.
But, never mind, we are not here to discuss Mr. Kilmisters shoes, but rather my - at least 125th visit to a Motörhead concerts. And there we are, because after the usual hello from Lemmy, there is not much more to describe about this gig. Most of all - it's loud - like always. Motörhead is Lemmy and Lemmy is Motörhead most of all. He's 61 years of age now and he seems neither older or younger or anything else. Only his  hair is a bit more fair. But he doesn't care about such things, like he does with many other things.
,

Phil Campbell is also in the band for about 20 years now. And he looks it. Last but not least - Mickey Dee on drums, who is beating his baby up like offering us the big bang. Though he must burn  1.000s of calories each time at each of his invations, Mickey lost his slim silhouette. But never mind once again. Main thing is, he does his job well. And he certainly does. Apart from that, there's not much happening up there on stage what's up to the generell physical movement. It's Motörhead, that's it-

Dr.Rock is opening the party, continued by 'Be My Baby' etc.etc. (view setlist on the left) Our good old behated Zenith venue is packed and is hailing their idol. It's seems, the whole scene of norht and south Bavaria  has gathered here. Motörhead is Heavy Metal some fans say, the other call it hardrock. The only person who calls it simple rock'n'roll is Lemmy himself, lifts his shoulders without emotions and shoots off. Main thing is, backstage they got some Carlsberg Special Brew (not available in Germany) Thanks to 11% alcohol, I get knocked out drinking only one tin of this stuff. But Mr.Kilmister could drink a dozen of those, and still wouldn't move a twink in his eye. Lately he's exchanging the beer with coke and Jack Daniels to give it a change.
Fact is, compared with the early eighties, where Motörhead played very small places, sometimen in front of not even 200 fans, nowadays the phonex has risen from the ashes, at least what's up to good old Germany. And Motörhead are more cult than ever, every year again and again jesus is born again in the truest sense of the word and meaning, 'cause Lemmy is celebrating his(now 61st) birthday exactly on the 24th of Dec. And I guess he will take with him whatever he can, because you never know. how long he'll be able to do this exhausting job. But don't worry, Lemmy is hard as a rock and long lasting as his favorite boots.
And they are Motörhead, still playing only Rock'n'Roll

not very challenging those signs on their <  dressingroom doors    >

so we better check the guys out on stage from a secure distance.

at least this beauty has got in touch with Motörhead in person.
