Thank you Micha, or should I rather say - 'Das letzte Einhorn (last
unicorn). And actually with this word in the beginning everything is
said concerning the gig here in Munich. But it would be not enough for
the curiosity of all your fans. So I rather try to get a bit into this
Fire spitting Event - in the truest sense of the word. Thank you anyway
for a well done stint, for an exiting show, and thanks for the invite to
join you on stage, in the middle of the set to take some impressing
pictures of those aprox. 4.000 enthusiastic fans, sharing your spotlight
for a few minutes. To be honest, you don't get this chance very often as
a photographer, or better, you normally never get it. But you ain't
boring either to be caught in my lense, starting off with the real good
light conditions, your very ecotic look and your smashing sexappeal.
The music itselfes, I can
first enjoy after the photocall, because the sight of you magnetifies me
too much through the camera
Rubbish!
No seriously, your band is worth a visit for sure. And if it's only
because of letting the mixture of Rockmusic meets ancient tunes melt in
our ears like chocolate in the sunshine. of course with a slight chilly
note par excellence. Whereby in your case the chilly, sorry, the
rockmusic is dominating, despite the backpipes and all the other strange
looking instruments. But there is a guitar, a bass and a drumkit as
well. So what?!
Anyway, the electric guitar is giving the cords, which don't come along
a 100% perfect tonight. But within this building here I'm never sure
anyway, whether this is the artists fault or the airwaves throwing back
a strange echo from the walls. But never mind, your fans go for it and
for you. And 4.000 voices are singing along and the double amount of
arms are up in the air reaching towards your direction. This is surely
the best prove of love you can get as an artist. And I know, you are
pretty much aware of it. Yep, I believe it, you have convinced me, that
the view from up there on to all those admirers is not only a photo
worth it but also a huge halleluja.

’Spielmann’ is opening the set. And you are starting off with a solo,
dressed in a black uniform kinda coat, very intensively, but also pretty
calm. And it does not dismiss it's magic. It's building up on the next
song and the song after and so on. It's like a chainreaction with an
increasing energy level. You are pushing the fans up, and those kids are
throwing the energy back up to you again. The temperature is rising, the
black coat is past tense and your red shirt is getting to hot as well
after a short while. I must admit, I do like, what is left. And I'm sure,
it's not only me enjoying this sight. But in the end everything is up to a
cooperation between the acoustical and the visual sight which make an
appearance of In Extremo to something special. Songs like 'Erdbeermund' (Strawberry
Mouth)
and 'Küss Mich' (Kiss Me) underline your individuality. I am still
not sure myself where I shall put you. It is a journey between a certain
similarity to another popular german rockact and some other groups of
those middle age century music thing. But over all, you did not loose your
own individual style, your very own brand.
Pyros or not, - this time you do not have that many as usual included in
the show. But maybe that's up to the local burocrathy. But never mind, you
don't need it, and your stint here in Munich is still an exiting
event. And I bet it's the same somewhere else, when not even better than
here.
And I say thank you again
Micha - for the translation of this feeling, what and how many endophines
(happy hormons) an artists produces, when 1.000s of arms are showing him
this love and devotion. Thank you for the Erdbeermund, the Vollmond, the
Spielmannsfluch and the sexappeal from Singapur,.... sorry, from Berlin to
Munihc, and thank you, that you read this review as well now.
