... and just before this year is finished, one more german Heavy Metal thunder is rolling over Munich including six bands. Yeah, I know they wanna do us a favour, but to be honest, it's just too much of all those goodies. Where I have to admit, that the goodies, apart from the headliner are not the yellow of the egg, as we say so - average 'till rubbish. At least what I experience tonight. Yes I confess, I didn't make it from the beginning to check out the whole six pack of those eighties metal rockers, whereby also a time problem made me be late. But at act no.4 named 'Crystallion' I find the entrance of the venue to pop in and get the blessing of these kids. Oh, pardon, we should not ignore all the support acts before, which I missed out. They are named Nator, Scavanger and Crying and they are happy to have got the chance to play here giving their best. Because I presume, they don't get such a chance not too often. Not much audiance though. Probably each act has pulled their fanclub. God thanks for that, I gotta say, because to be honest, there would not have been much left in the crowd,except a few lost sould, two or three journalists including me and some guitarist of a band namend Helloween, who is coincidentally here in Munich tonight for a short visit. .
But back to act no.4 whithin the metal lineup. Crystallion have just released their first album 'A Dark Enchanted Crystal Night', and made themselves their nicest xmas present.

Powermetal is this kinda musical style named of the selfnamed bavarian knights of the ancient times.It's a fact, that these boys play themselves through the glory eighties with a whole lot of enthusiasm and a guitarist, who could easily be Steve Stevens little brother. Even the body size is pretty much the same like the one of his idol. I'll introduce you to your guitar god soon, next time he' sin munich,-promise! However, you can feel, that those raw diamonds have a whole lot of potential in their talents. And I could imagine, that this band could get a good and decent place in the genre with a bit more experience. So please go out and play your asses off. 
And all you fans out there - be early  and by time, next time Crystallion is gonna play a support slot.

Stormhammer... now it's getting a bit difficult for me, because I really do like you personally boys. But sorry, this here tonight doesn't work out. Never mind, whether it's up to broken monitor boxes or the fact, that you still are not used to the new drummer and the singer or whatsoever. Or that you got up in the morning with the wrong leg. It just doesn't fit and suit together tonight. Maybe they shouldn't take things too seriously, because up there these guys rather seem like the intro to Mozart's opera 'Idomeneo' - static and not like energetic Heavy Metal gods. A little more movement on stage gentlemen, if possible please. And go and include a little more humour in the show trying to get the right sparkle. Think about it. I'm sure, you could do it right. So what... Rock'n'Roll is still fun and not a funeral lunch at a cemetry yard.

And last but not least – Brainstorm from the western part of our country. And compared with the band before, they really put out what their name already says. Yeah maybe not a hurricane, but easy going and with very much humour. It starts with thier funny exotic accent when talking to the audiance inbetween the songs, explaining the problem for exchanging the voice like a guitar. Or complaining about the heat. No, it's not what they do up there, it's rather how they do it. Brainstorm prove, that you can get the fans out of their shoes, although many freaks have left already the battlefield. But that's not because of the performances before, but due to the fact, that it's is already very late, and some people have to get up early next morning. It's past midnight so far. The Liquid Monster shows it's power, whereby this album is one year old  and no new CD out yet. Never mind, they rule and the audiance is singing along with them.  

And Brainstorm have fun and laugh out loud. And hopefully you fans in here have a good time as well in the end. And yes we got it, except my legs, who almost go on a general strike, because of this marathon schedule. One thing is for sure, the headliner knows exactly where the sparkle is situated and they know how to throw it down to us. Thank you for a great finale, and the last remaining rest of the hardcore fans go home satisfied and happy in the end

PS: the actual weak point tonight were the missing fans which has been maybe caused by the time of the year, on the other hand due to the fact, that munich is not a too good place for this kind of music anyway and last but not least due to the fact, that this music is currently not very big in the international musicscene. Let's put it that way: let's be glad, that the music is still existing.....
