and ... DAYS OF BETRAYAL samt X-Core…on the:

and yes once again I missed out on the very first band who had the ungrateful job to open up this event followed by four other acts. I',sorry. Yeah okay, not quite to be honest. I mean, I still have a lot understanding for partly unknown young bands, who get a chance to jump on a trek of a popular band. Because that's the chance to introduce themselves to a broughter audiance. But on the otherside sometimes it's getting too much at once. Like tonight, where five bands of this rather exhausting kind of music are appearing live on stage. Too much not only for me. Tonight there ain't too many lovers of this 'soft' music style  here anyway to shake their heads into pieces. Once again it's the brilliant weather conditions, which might cause the lack of guests, who rather prefer our bavarian beergardens to a indoor event. It's definately not the lack of popularity of the headliner. Because Pro-Pain definately belong to the establishment  of Hardcore Metal. 15 years on the trail and 11 albums prove this aspect of beeing an institution within the genre. And they still tour their asses of, although the audiance counts only 150 headls like here.

However, good, if you thought about your earplugs, because the inferno messures at least 200 decibles and above.

First of all it's X-Core from the czechish republic. Their name is taken from a popular online game. and those boys try hard to push the attention of all those Pro-Pain fans. Unfortunately it doesn't really happen and the friends of the thrash-philosophy rather prefer the bar.

Also the next combo does hard to get the place boiling. Days Of Betrayal come from Belgium and they move between DeathMetal and Hardcore. Oh Jes....
I'll never learn the slight difference between all those styles. But also at this performance the fan still hesitate to move closer to the stage.

First number 3, actually it's number 4 in the line up gets  things moving.

Gurd come from Switzerland and they follow also a thrashy line, but also some groovy and straighter lines. Also the musicians themselves get more notices as individuals thanks to aura and performance. Exspecially Franky on bass seems to be the fun factor with pulling funny faces all the times. Whereby this boy is already 47 years old - you won't believe it. In the and is also Pat on guitar, Tschibu on drums and V.O. on vocals on the front. There have been a few line up changes in the past, but on the other hand they just celebrated their 10th anniversary. Yes, Gurd got some potential and I do find a favour on the performance.

And there they come, the probably most wellknown boldheads in  Hardcore-Thrash,Grind - or whatsoever Metal and they atart with almost violent power.

Holy shit, our ears dance Rock'n'Roll and the audiance starts dancing a jungledance on a five dimensional height. The result is, taking pictures is only possible from the far left or right, unless you don't wanna get knocked out. No thank you, not for me. And I stay on the left an take my shots, when Gary Meskil and Co. start off to the ultimate battle of Waterloo.

‚Age of Tyranny / The Tenth Crusade’ is the title of the new albu, which has been released end of march. And that's how the tour is called as well. On this album Pro-Pain show more melody and clearer vocals, - at least they say so. But I have to confess, I'm still searching for some harmony. But please don't call me narrowminded what's up to Hardcore Metal, because I've seen Napalm Death and Slayer playing live, when many of you were still Babies. And apart from that, I'm known for beeing very open minded to all different kinds of music. Yeah maybe apart from some stupid teenie pop prductions, who cover classic tunes from the past, because the do not have any individual ideas. But the sad thing is, that they sometimes earn more money than some good rockband within their entire carriere. I just say this, that at this circumstances, music like this one here get drowned within the fast living music business. And left is only a small amount of fans, who celebrate the
 Suicizid-Swing .

Anyway, Pro-Pain take off again and again to their active work out on stage, where the waste of calories is probably three times as high as the one of a marathon man. And they are still grinning, at least what's up to the guitar on the left. The whole eruption here also contains a political message, which starts with George Bush and ends in the middleage. These guys from New York castrate everything into pieces. The only problem is, because of  the kind of presentation, us not english speaking people do not understand a single word, not even me, whe has spent five years of my life in Great Britain. But never mind, we got CD covers to read the lyrics. And last but not least we are not here tonight to waste any thoughts about political failures, but rather to enjoy pure entertainment and practice the madhouse philosophy. At least Pro-Pain do not make any long speaks inbetween all those kill billies, - like Bono from U2 always does during a performance. Because I can't stand this. We are here at a Rock'n'Roll party, (in the furthest sense) and we wanna amuse ourselves and not think about the next bomb threat beach happening in the iraq. It's coming anyway early enough in the near future.....

nice legs, white socks and shows like we wear
when hiking in the mountains. This is the ultimate
Pro-Pain Look

This is it..... five spring thrash sonatas, and most of us including myself go happily satisfied home with death ears. See you next times boys, and never give up any hope. Sometime in the future they scientists will invent the ultimate hair growing substance for all you boldheads out there including at least five different shades. Cheers, stay up, keep the sexy look and see you soon again....
