Just let's take our bavarian no.1. Rock'n'Roll Band Bonfire and spice them with the freshly regrouped Railway - God bless them. And off we go and we got this rare phenomen, that every mouse crawls out of it's hole. I mean by that everyone, who used to be somebody in the local scene or still is. And they meet for a happy gathering at the posh Metropolis club. There are also individuals, who usually are good brave family daddies for the rest of the year, but now take the chance to be there at the spot right now. Everybody is still somebody, although we all don't get younger than we are. But we hope to meet each other's generation here for an exchange of memories. V.I.P.s make it on the guestlist, the other's pay to get in of course, but don't loose a word about it and enjoys.... On the other hand, up there on stage are two bands of the easy go luck Rock'n'Roll cathegory, who truly take an effort for all you guys. And they deserve some attention and a goal for their hard try to keep all you pseudo specialists in a good and happy mood. Oh, what's up to the guestlist, this one tonight is a case for the guiness book of records, containing at least 5 pages. But never mind, the most important thing is, the venue is pretty well filld and the posh audiance is waiting for small but delicate happening, which starts off just after 8 p.m. with Enrico Caruso in spe' a.k.a. Walter Wicha and his Railway.
But back to
the general vibe, which causes some enthusiasm most of all at the
youngsters in the audiance, who didn't really know the band so far. They
give the band a lot of support and even more applause. Applause, also the
elderly between us give them, but rather somehow quietly. We won't show
any weak tendences, will we?! Even we luv it.-
The real stars
of tonight do a bit easier, beeing such a long time around nonstop. In
fact it's there 20th anniversary right now. And they are Bavarias rock
export no.1. There is also another phenomen about this band when they play
live on stage. No other band gets criticised harder than this lot, but
after show, everybody wastes a lot of compliments. So what?! Do we like
them or don't we? Yes of course we do, but none of all those rock experts
here would ever confess this. Shame on you. Whatever you say or do, but on
stage Bonfire still rock their asses off for you. And at this point
everybody shakes at least his big toe. The result is, that we might be
very good in quarreling over here in Bavaria, but in the end, we are
patriots, helping each other and defend bavarian home made music. And
that's what it is. And dare you out there in the north of Germany to
complain about it. The big boss of the band and frontmann Claus shouts out
the slogan: 'I am proud of my country'. Long live patriotism. By the
way, - where did you leave your US-Southern States flag? Or have you
changed your attitude? Apart from
that, the acoustic aspect is also underlined by the visual one. No problem,
because the guitar on the left, known as Yps, takes with his great body
care, that some girlies in the audiance get sparkling eyes. Though I
presume he took off his shirt rather because of the heat in here or not?! The band gets a lot of attention tonight, most of all of some screaming the hell out - female freaks. And you could think you are in a teenie boy band concert. But Bonfire take it with a lot of humour. And a hot blonde on stage is always good for the image, ain't it?! However, the Amen in
the church is once again 'Hard On Me' and the result once more is a decent
rockshow with a lot of pepper in the arse - no tired at all or boring or
dull, including a little pyro effect in the beginning of the show by the
way, to make sure that everybody is widely awake. |
