..and again it's actually four bands appearing here tonight. Unfortunately it doesn't pull more people though. We got that before, didn't we, and we ask ourselves, what the reason for that is. On one hand it might be ths wonderful sunshine right now, who doesn't allow, that all those guys out there exchange a beergarden with a dark venue. But maybe it's also the reason, that those kids bought already their tickets for aerosmith and Ozzy, which are highly expensive, and so the do not spend any further cash for small events. That's a shame, Because exspecially at these smaller gigs you sometimes find real pearls and absolutey underrated artists, who are struggling inside the jungle of the huge music landscape. Our two bands here have got a name for themselves already, and fans know and luv the sound of Lacrimas Profundere and Leave's Eyes.

I'm there, when the first named one goes on stage to check 'em out a second time. First time I saw them, was, when the supported the italien rockers Lacuna Coil. And I remember only too well, when the singer fell very unluckily from the stage and hurt himself bitterly. I stood beside him in the photopit and was highly frightened. You remember those things, don't ya'. Since that occassion some things have changed meanwhile, and most of all the frontman has changed. The old singer Chritsopher Schmid didn't want the touring stress anymore and said good bye recently. The new guy's name is Peter Kafka and sounds like the young Iggy Pop - no joke. Close your eyes, and you think, Iggy is up there. Apart from that it's still the old singer's brother Oliver Nikolas Schmid on guitar, Tony Berger also on the six strings. Daniel Lechner plays the bass and Korl Fuhrmann on drums and Christian Steiner on keyboard. And indeed, they have not lost anything since the changing. Still playing this melancholic, dark mixture of Gothic- and Doom Metal. The band themselves describes the style as Rock'n Sad. Though they do not seem that upset up there, and the performance develops into an energetic mixture of Iggy meets the Sisters of Mercy and Nick Cave. Well done boys. And I can only advise everybody to check those spilled tears (that's what their name  means) out one day.

First impression of the headliner : Nightwish say hello. A brilliant female singer with a classical trained opera voice, and a Heavy Metal shouter, who could not be more different. The rest on stage unfortunately is pushed a bit into the back. Shame, because exspecially the two guitars are pretty good.
To make it short. Leave's Eyes were founded in 2003, when Liv Christine was pushed out by her former band Theatre of Tragedy and she joined the remaining members of a group named Atrocity to christen the new baby.
No doubt, there are quite a few similarities between Leave's Eyes and Nightwish. And fact is also, the whole performance is dominated by a clear light voice, sometimes joined by the Heave Metal shouter Alexander Krull. Exept the drummer, the line up is still the same like in the beginning.

You've gotta give Liv Christine that much - she's got a huge aura, which gets even bigger with this special kinds of lights. It's a pleasure for photographers that's for sure.
Because Liv, who is norwegian, lives in Germany for quite a few years now because of her love, she is able to announce the songs in almost perfect german with only a very slight accent. And this saves her even more sympathies. There are 18 songs on the setlist, but the enthusiasm of those few fans here let her come back again for even more very last song, which is 'Energy'.

Well done, Liv... That has been truly a great show, and however what's up to any comparisos to Nightwish. How it's usually said?.... Rather a great copy, than a bad orginal. The most enthusiastic fan is Liv's little son in here, who gives his mum the most applause and is very proud of her.So for the next generation of Rock is taken care most probably. But now off to bed, he's just grown out of his napkins.
See you again for sure.... and hopefully next time with a few more fans. They honestly do deserve more attention.
