..just to get one thing clear in the beginning....

Bryan: "
“I’ve got good and bad news for you. The good ones are – I’m here, and the bad ones are, I haven’t got a new album for ya’ yet ”. -

Okay let's be honest, there is no need for such an explanation, is there?! Because, that he is actually up there, even the most shortsightened kid of the 12.000 fans inside the sold out Olympic hall can realize that. And whether there is a new album or not,  it really doesn't matter. We want Bryan Adams pure, live here tonight with all his hits, - including „18 ‚Till I Die“,  „Best Of Me“ and ‚Summer of 69 'till the encore ‚Run To You’.
So don't give a damn about a new piece right now, which, on the other hand will definately come around sooner or later. Although nobody here misses it at this very moment.

There is also one more fact I wanna put into the right light. Although Mr.Adams has mainly conquered the hearts of all those girlies and  housewives with his famous ballads and shot even more to fame because of that,  live on stage it's a different matter. Because as I have experienced many times before and also now again, he still rocks like hell - no kiddin'. This here is solid straight Rock'n'Roll, which sweps you away and gets you to sing along, whether it's grandmum aged 60 and above , or grandson just hidding 20.

This commercial concept including the good sunnyboy image does win even after 20 years and longer. No voluminous stage show spoils the atmosphere. Bryan doesn't need any special effects or a mega lightshow to underline his performance.
Up there are only some instruments played by some musicians, dressed in blue or black jeans and t-shirts. And that's it. The only luxury is a so-called B-Stage on the other side of the arena. That's where he starts the set. Another bonus for his fans, because on this small stage, he seems so close to the people, almost touchable. He talks to the audiance and at the fourth song, when moving forward to the mainstage he shakes countless hands of pretty blondes and others.
Of course at some point Bryan does perform his famous ballads as well. Its a must be and people expect it -  most of all 'Everythin I Do'. This song, by the way, has gone into the Guiness Book of Records for the longest stay ever in the british music charts. That one and some other slow motion tracks are the guarantee for a constant ever lasting success. A Bryan Adams show is always sold out - whenever, whereever. And next to all those ballads he plays his hard rockin' smashers, which he seems to like playing live much more.

But it's not only the sparkling hero with the good boy image himself, who draws 100% of the audiance attention. Also guitarist Keith Scott does some impressing solos and gets his attention and applause. On drums by the way one more time Mickey Curry, who has joined Bryan quite often in the past on tour.
The finale happens there, where the gig started out - on the B-Stage on the other side of the arena. It includes an explosive medley of well known Rock'n'Roll classic tunes. And in the very end, Bryan stands alone on stage doing the very last encore, which is - again - a very personal thing. To transfer this certain feeling of intimity in such a  huge venue is almost impossible and it needs a lot of feeling, sympathy and a huge aura. And the canadian, who lives in England for a long time now, beeing almost 50, but still looks like in his early 30s, certainly got all this. It makes him loveable and keeps his huge popularity up in the sky.
One more thing I have realized tonight. In the past I've seen many very good rockbands live on stage, some of them in front of only 100 people or even less, which is very sad. But here tonight it is truly shown, how the word superstar is defined. And believe me, my friends, he honestly deserves it.
