Slowly it's getting a bit suspicious to me.... Because lately almost every concert I've been to, has been great with very few critics or even weak points. And please believe me, I do certainly not belong to those reviewers who always give good notes because of enthusiasm on the matter itselves. No, when something is rotten, I truly impress so, and I always say what I'm thinking, also this time here tonight. And I have to admit, The Bones are another highlight, where everything suits 100% well.
Starting off with a smashing supportact named 'Al & The Black Carts'.

I've got say first, Al has already retired and is not with 'em anymore. He's probably enjoying himself behind a warm and comfi oven. That's what cats usually luv to do. But his friends, alltogether from Michigan, USA, and none of them older than 23 years of age, have come to Europe to conquer the world by storm with their hard rockin' Rockabilly Rock'n'Roll Sound. This is Ony'Tomcat' Cozzaglio (voc/git), Hugh 'HiFli Mc Fly' Skiffington (drum/voc) and Sgt. Eric 'The White Trash Charley Mingus' Soules (Upright Bass/voc). By the way, they apparently loved Europe so much, and the resonance was so high, that they decided to get a second domicile in the Netherlands.
Jes.... no eye apples stays dry here. This here what those american boys perform here is almost fit for a circus performance. The skiffle is dominating the scenery. Tony is practicing those impressing high jumps with his guitar (see pic) Hugh caresses his Baby in a 3/4 'till 7/8 beat and making a great figure. And Eric pulls out a big cucumber out of his trousers during his performance. Unfortunately it's life is pretty short by getting castrated, thrown into the audiance and back again and even tasted so some extend. Sgt. Eric looks pretty amazing when he takes his clothes off with nothing else dressed, than what you see on the pic, exspecially those sexy pink - Victoria Secret pants, looking great at his just about slender body. From the photographic point of view it is a true heaven of snapshots.

Last but not least its the music counting most and doesn't leave you even moment for breathing. I do not experience this very often, that a support act gets so much attention like these guys here, and believe me, they honestly do deserve it. 'Shakin' At The Knees' is the slogan and also the title of their second album- And I'm pretty sure the future of Rockabilly is secured with bands like this. I for my part wish that the Black Cats get what they deserve and hope they are back soon again. Congratulation, this was really a great show. And I'm definately not the only one with this opinion.

The question, whether The Bones are offering us the same quality in music and performance is off the table within 5 seconds, when they come on  to deliver us the ultimate punkrock battle. Whereby the rock is dominating. Since 11 years Beef Bonanza (voc/git, Boner (voc/leadgit), Andi Nero (bass) and Spooky on drums  beat the hell outta everyone's bones. Musically it's a meeting between Ramones and Motörhead christened by the spirit of Hank Williams.
Unfortunately at the Bones slot I do not have that much freedome taking pics as I did at the supportact. No moving anymore is possible unless you wanna get hacked into pieces. The kids go mad and stage diving is developing into an olympic discipline. The current erruption on the etna on Sicilly seems like a bonfire for pensioneers compared to this here. The situation actually reminds me strongly at the Exploited gig - same venue - aprox. 2 years ago -just a few more crazy individuals then. Tonight there are about 500 freaks of the boney Punk Rock'n'Roll who are playing ping pong with their extremities.

The band takes it easy and pushes the crowd even more up to high peaks. 'Bigger Tan Jesus' is the name of one album of the swedes, another is entitled 'Straight Flush Ghetto', followed by 'Partners In Crime' Part 1' a coproduction with collegues like Crucified Barbara, Sick Of It All and the Backyard Babies. I presume, there might be part 2 shortly. And yes of course there's a new piece of music as well - 'Burnout Boulevard'. All this and even more The Bones are presenting us tonight, colourful mixed with hot spices. And the titles, the lyrics, the music alltogether speaks for the image and attitude for the band.

No one in this band is a frontman, or better explained, they all shoot their goal. Every guy is singing whether it's lead or backing vocalts, everyone is a star, but it's the unit which makes 'em really strong within the performance and gives them this special strong expression. This here is the third time they are here in Munich, and again the head straight for victory. That's no heavy - heavy metal, but rather bone hard fast dirty Rock'n'Roll, a highly explosive mixture, which goes well down on us older fans as well as on the young dudes. It would be almost commercial if it wasn't that individual, unique and crashing. Halleluja this is great stuff. We do our prayer, the venue explodes and hopefully our swedish Bone's come back soon again... This is Rock'n'Roll and we like it....!!!!!
