Okay, at least you can't say this time - oh - again! Because believe it or not, but four years have past, since Chappo, how he's named by his fans, was here last time in Munich. though he seems like a very old aquaintance to us, because he's sort of an institution, who coincidentally is in our town again after a long time. And while over here he is very well known, in his home country England very few people know him 'till the very day. So the result is, that he won't be doing a lot of touring in Britain anymore, but concentrating his strenght and power over here in Germany. Everything else wouldn't be worth while.
so thank you Germany, thank you Mike Oldfield and thank you 'Shadow On The Wall', which was and still is Roger Chapmans biggest hitsingle ever. Yeah maybe you,me and some others know songs like 'How How How', 'Mango Crazy' and the Rolling Stones cover 'Let's Spend The Night Together'. All the rest of his countless songs from the years with his band Family or the solostuff is only known to insiders and freaks, who are measuring Chappo not only on the standards.
Tonight, at Munich's Metropolis, there are exactly those fans and freaks, who keep the faith for many years. - His band is almost the same like last time. - Almost, because a lost son has returned home with Steve Simpson, extraordinary guitarist and violonist, who has put his inbetweenie musical ambitions on ice again, to be back for good. He and Micky Moody are the two musical towers on the right and on the left on stage, with Chappo in the middle, who once again looses at least 200 pint of sweat during the show.

No, you don't realize, that the, meanwhile 65 years old singer, had been not too well lately because of a trickered nerv pestering him. But thanks to nowadays medical treatments, that problem is quickly desolved. And so, Roger is jumping around like a young god again..... bathing in his sweat, like mentioned before.
’One More Time For Peace’, is the title of his newest product, which he has recorded within 5 days,- that's what he said beforehand. And of course it has got priority. The merch man shouldn't stay workless, should he. And yes, this CD shows some very interesting aspects and is a true must for real fans.
No, to be honest, this appearance of Chapman is once again nothing spectacular. But over all it is a solid show and does please the 500 people, who have gathered here tonight. There's no request left, whether it's the songmaterial, the impressing voice or the excellent leadguitar of Micky Moody......

or it's the strong drumbeat of Johne Lingwood. Not to forget Ian Gibbons on Keyboard, Gary Twigg on bass, the female backing vocals and of course Steve Simpson.
They all play well together. Chappo is back here again and has shown us, that he is still up to date. So a big thank you and 'till next time. Germany will definately keep the fate,- I'm pretty sure.....
