Who??? soome of you might ask now. And that's no surprise, as the glory days with Europe have passd for quite a long time now. Remember, Kee Marcello, who's real name is Kjell Hilding Lövbom, came in the band for John Norum in 1986. And he stayed there 'till Europ split in 1992. After that, he founded the project 'Red Fun', which brought out only one album. But that one is really good. In 2003 Kee founded K2. And in 2006 he reformed his first band, which he had before Europe, named 'Easy Action'. And last but not least there is still his solo carriere with 2 albums. A third one is supposed to come out in a few months.
Oh before I forget, the reunion of Europe in 2003 went passed him, as he didn't want to join anymore because he couldn't confirm with their music anymore, as he said so. Well, let's put it that way... Europe are still running behind another success like 'Final Countdown', and Kee, who has moved back home to Sweden, after some years in the Caribean, is doing his own thing in a smaller atmosphere. But he doesn't seem to mind, as long as he can play his music, the music he feels most related to. And I presume he can do so, by still receiving some royalities from Europe times.
Today he has stopped by at our Garage Rockclub here in Munich with his soloband, feat. Michael Ehrè on drums. Mind me,I forgot the name of the bassist. (Please help!)

Let's put it that way, it could have been so nice, if there wasn't a little problem, and that one again is the lack of audiance. Who knows, why there ain't anybody getting his butt off his couch to check out this superb guitarist. And above that, it's weekend too, andy everybody can have a long sleep the next morning.. But maybe it's also the fact, that many of Munich's music fans need a rest after yesterday's battle at AC/DC in the stadium. Or maybe the relation Europe - Kee Marcello got somhow forgotten over the years. WelI doubt that....But however, we will never know for sure. It's a fact, that we rather got a livingroom event here...

Kee Marcello himself stays cool... It seems, he just wants to play, no matter if it's for 100, 1000 or just 10 people. The rather tragic fact is, that during the show it shows, that he is a brilliant guitarist, showing us a hell of skills, performing tracks of his entire carriere, including the acrobatic highpoint - Bumblee Bee flight from Rimsky Korsakoff. Holy shit, you first gotta copy that one....
And to repeat myself for the 150th time, once again I could cry, checking out such a musical talent, which gets hardly noticed here... Sad but true.

I personally think, the, manwhile 49 year old musician should try to play on as many festivals as possible in the near future, to find some resonance  inmidst other wellknown acts, So he can establish himself a bit more in the international scene again and gets the reputation he deserves.
However, I and the few lucky one's, who are here tonight, do like, what we see and hear. That's for sure...
So please carry on... I'm sure there is some chance and way to become big again....
