after almost 3 weeks without any concerts, it's starting again with a vengeance, some heavenly choir chorals and luvely soapy ballads in a high C and deep F concerning the Rock'n'Roll genre. One one hand, happy to have had this rest after 137 concerts in the past year, so on the other hand, I surely did miss out on something as well. Now the batteries are well filled again, the Spirit is fresh and relaxed and off we go again to another round in the musicbiz with many energetic melodies for young and old and hopefully it's rocking again.

And it surely does tonight here in Munich at the Garage Club, when Sir Berny Weiss and his teutonic mates of Axxis rock our socks off. Jesus wept with his holy spirit and a powerful prayer rapped up into a high E, so what Bernie?!!!!

No, seriously and highly concentrated now, but our rockclub here has certainly reached a new record for the Guinessbook, what's up to the almost countless audiance. Halleluja some of us might have thought by entering the heavens ... eh sorry.... the club entrance and gets stopped by a not beatable wall of fan, which is harder to conquer than the Mount Everest in winter time, - including boxing cloves.

I used a flash on that one

But Lazarus doesn't give in in his fate and bangs his head from behind through the imaginary wall of sound, where you can spot just about the Haute couture had of Pope Bernie, the little, no - the great, who is trying  hard to beat Enrico Caruso in front there. Holy shit, our beerglasses are dancing in a 3/4 rhythm and try a square dance, which doesn't almost stay dry...

My gratefullness belongs to the Garage club boss Romulus the first, who shows mercy to me and let me go behind the bar, standing between icecubes and jacky-coke, but therefore free sight onto the altar, to catch my visuall impressions. A 3 times thank you, otherwise our Rock'n'Roll animals would have played without the flashlight thunderstorm. Pardon me, I never use flashlight at concerts, because I think it's a death sin because of trickin' out the original sight. But taking pics from a certain distance, whereby the free sight is restricted to the bands hips upwards and the rather low light conditions, makes it not particularly easy. Including the fact, that Bernie prefers, that Sir Bernie perfers to sing often towards the ground to his feet, where he does his ballett dance. At least his Karl Lagerfeld hairstyle gets into the right limelight. Don't worry, you are sexy in any way sweetie....

Axxis are currently a pure male domain, but therefore the band has got a new diamond in their rows, which they certainly haven't auctioned on ebay. And our sunshine Alex Landenburg, does prove, that he plays  his drumkit not just since yesterday.

We do know Marco Wriedt on the six strings already, don't we. And yes, though the fact of growing up now, he still seems like 15 and a little bit... No so bad at all, I'd say. And I don't just mean his shirt, showing his non existing chest hair.

Of course there is, like always, Mastro Harry Oellers, the Keyboard wizard and Jon Lord fan, - on stage placed neatly in the background, at least most of the time, with a cool glimpse like James Bond, but.... he is as hot as a Vol.... rubbish, we're not dancing a samba here, but rather a Headbanger's jungle tscha tscha tscha....

Robeer'  &  Harry
exchanging their instruments  inbetween

And last but not least up there the guy with the cool  ID - Rob Schomaker, Bassist and fan of the Borussia Mönchengladbach soccer club. Whereby last fact, Rober' (pronounced in french) should rather not mention this down here in the south, otherwise he takes a risk of getting lynched by all these bavarian Die hard fans. Apart from that, his selfconfidence is great and the posing is competing with the one's of the Chippendales. Never forget this please Rober'. You never know, where and when you have use for your talents later on...

The teaparty lasts about 2 hours including the encores. And Bernie our Hardrock rent- a mouth is entertaining us inbetween this little night music with his amusing and witty anecdotes and some lessons for playing the tambourine. Whereby the difficuties ain't so much the actual playing but rather holding the rhythm. And arms up please. That's what this pretty lady (below on the pic) experiences, when she had the honour to join the band on stage for a short while.

Apart from that the musical medley includes a best of... choice like ‚Touch the Rainbow’, ‘Better world/livin' in the dark’ and many more well known Axxis tunes.

Thanks Berny for the setlist

Only my personal favorite is dismissed again, and I presume I can wait, 'till I drop dead to get 'Wonderland' live on stage presented. Hey Bernie.... what do I have to pay,... that I get it once in a lifetime?
However, despite all these small  handycaps what's up to a 100% gig enjoyment for all these freaks here, - in the end, everybody goes happily home, - or not home, because of an amusing Rock'n'Roll entertainment including Bernies funny single entertainer qualities.
There's not much more to say... oh well, one more thing..... cheers and 'till next time in Sanctus spirit fidibus...
