As we all know, there is music we do like, and there is music which ain't our cup of tea, as we say so. Unfortunately not many of us are that much compromising to go and check something out, despite the fact, it's not neccessarely their kind of stuff. Because sometimes you could experience some kind of surprise. -
I always used to say, - every music has it's right to be here to get accepted or not. Well, Brujeria ( you speak it Bruceria with a pronouncation on the i) have taken care for quite a bit of resonance in the past, whereby the Dalton Brothers from South America (at least some of them are...) are not holy at all. By the way the spanish word Brujeria means as much as witchcraft. And spanish are the lyrics performed coinciding with the hellish sound. Jun Bruo and  Pinche Peach have been to Germany before a few times. This time the show in Munich is the only one in Southern Germany.
Unfortunately the problem here in the bavarian capitol is the beautiful weather, keeping people away from dark concert venues and rather spend the evening in one of the countless and famour beergardens. So therefore the result are just about 150 witchcraft fans, who are staying faithful to the spanish magic.

Munich band Van Drunen start off at 9.15 p.m. playing in almost complete darkness......

Yippieehh, I hardly fought that much to catch some reasonable shots with my cam. Thanks god to the restricted moving around on stage to this music, I can manage one or the other snapshot without flash and a long exposure time.

Although the threesome describes their home Munich, I have to confess, that, apart from the band's name, I don't know them at all. Though apparently the band is going since 2004 according to their My Space Page. The music is some sort of industrial metal paired with so-called Grind Core accompanied by this gutter vocals which are shared by both guitarist and bassist.
Let's put it that way, you've really gotta be a fan of this sort of Heavy Metal, to discover for yourself it's quality. And it ain't easy to heat up this small audiance, whereby half of it still enjoys a delicious lager outside at the Backstage venue garden.
It is, how shall I describe it.... pretty interesting. And if there wasn't this undefinate screaming and grunting even I could get something out of this bombastic unorthodox sound. But for this I probably miss the neccessary drive. All further infos you get  at:

Brujeria draw the average attention in first place on to there masks....

That one is not as extravagant as the one of Slipknot or even GWAR and those kind of bands. It's rather created by some posh sophisticated towels, with some nice pattern and a hole in the middle to hide their faces.(see pics).-
And what a surprise, this cheap variety of masks don't miss there impression on the audiance. And that's what it is all about, ain't it?! These guys are twittering about satanism, Sex, Politics and immigration. At least that's what the generell infos say. Because I doubt it, that any guy in here speaks spanish, including myself. On the other side, the crowd here don't care about it anyway, because they rather mosh their brain cells outta their ears.
Thanks to the above mentioned fact, that the venue is not filled completely , there ain't no life danger for us normal laid back guests. :-)

Well, what ever about Death Metal, but when that one is framed with some sort of humour, then you can't deny a certain amount of entertaining aspects. No song lasts longer than 3 minutes. It's like in punk... And therefore I put 2 or even 3 tracks in one clips.

I presume, Juan Brujo wanted ot play a little Captain Hook in Peter Pan's Neverland with his over dimensional saber, gesticulating wildly around. (watch the clip below). And it seems Pirates of the Caribian becomes reality.  I dearly can't hide a good laugh. for a proper good bye we get our all beloved vacation hymn 'Makarena' served on a silver plate throughout the amps. Brujeria just changed the lyrics a bit. And instead of Makarena it's Mariihuana in the refrain.
Long talk, short sense... and like I said before, you do need a lot understanding and love for this extreme form of music. But
thanks to the many witty elements put into the show, a concert of Brujeria has honestly got something to it.
