To be honest with you, I knew this popstar so far only from the yellow press, because there she is shown everywhere and everytime nonstop, whether it's up to a new fashion style or a new lover.
But it has been once again a photocall, which let me come along to Lily Allen's Munich show, however with the thought in my backhead, that I can alway leave after taking pictures, in case I don't like it. On the other hand, as you all know, I'm alway open for new stuff and other musical styles. And Curiosity is one thing, all Geminis have in common. Not that I do care about starsigns in particular, but yes, I have to confess, I've always been nosy about things. And right now I dearly wanna know, what Lily Allen is like live on stage compared to her appearances in the gossip magazines.

In her homecountry England the just 24year young Lily is already a superstar and hosts her very own talkshow on TV. She is the daughter of actor Keith Allen and movie producer Allison Owen. After her parents divorce, when Lily was just 4 years old, she changed very often her residence and 14 times her school. According to herself, between aged 16 and 19 she spent most of the time on dope. Discovered by musicagent George Lamb, she released her first album 'Alright Still' in 2006, and it became soon a smash album in Great Britain. Also the new and second CD 'It's ‚Not Me, It's You’, which appeared last february, has been very successful so far.

So off we go and let's take her by surprise, and whether this young lady ain't only looking good in the mags. The place is once again crowded. But compared to the recent show of The All American Rejects, today it's more the male audiance gathering in the first row.

Before Miss Allen's appearance a DJ puts on music for the fans. And showtime is indeed pushed back for some long minutes. Just to mention one more thing. Within the monitorbox there is a screen placed for some maybe forgotten lyrics. Well  mind me, it's the best prove, that this lady is gonna sing live.

And now everybody is waiting for these famous things coming up, including a drink with 2 straws on the mic and some cigarettes . Apparently artists on stage are freed from the smoking ban, or what?! But within the live set, it is clear, Lily Allen doesn't take much use of all these mentioned things.

And there she is, young, good looking, sexy and very selfconfident.

I gotta give her that, - the melodies of her songs have got something to it. I should also mention her band, consisting of some brilliant musicians. Apart from that, you can think what you want about Lily's singing. Let's put it that way: thanks god, popmusic doesn't charge a power vocal chord. The only thing left for me to criticice are the - once again weak sound conditons. It's like lottery - whereever you're situated in here. I've been luck and enjoy a rather decent acoustic.

Lily is working herself through her complete song repertoir and changes her outfit 3 times. Shame, we have only the first 3 songs to take pics. So I can't show you the rest of it visually. But believe me, some men in here get circled eyes by watching lily constantly. Lily is definately also a style icon for female fans. So you can see many girls in the audiance having the exact same hairstyle with this tiny ponytail on the back head. And last but not least, the colour pink is dominating here.

this here is only a little swimmy impression of Lily's
final and most sexy outfit

The Setlist includes some really interesting melodies, like the one's in the clip below.

I must admit, I really do like it. And you know what? I'm staying 'till the very end of the show. The last song is also the most popular one, it seems. It describes in a very happy mood only one thing: 'Fuck You' And the whole venue stands on it's head.
What else to say? Respect how this pop princess has managed her 80 minutes show. she leaves a very good impression and her popularity has certainly risen up again. Hey, and she has sung live. to repeat myself, - I mean, why else do you need a screen hidden in the monitorbox up there on stage?!! And in my opinion, this is still better, than a fake, most of all, when it's performed in such a charming innocent way like by Lily Allen....
