This swedish rockband I've seen already quite a few times live on stage, but I still don't know how they've got to their peculiar name. Well, who knows, maybe in swedish language it sound really cool or something like it. Also the visuall aspect doesn't remind us a singl inch about this kinda dog. Which means, these musicians don't wear this typicals hairspray electrified style.
And I don't wanna use the expression glamrock, because the music of the Poodles is actually simple straight hardrock. Only maybe the colourful costumes of frontman Jacob reminds me a little at these past Sleaze- and glitter era. For those, his lady back home is responsible, as she designs all his clothes, whether on - or off stage. Very photogenic indeed, but in the end it would be useless, if the show ain't good. And until this very day, it has always been placed right, sometimes better, sometimes weak, depending on the daily conditions and mood.
Aprox. 250 people have gathered at the Metropolis in Munich, some of these fans, have just seen the Poodles live about one week ago at the Firefest in Nottingham. - After this show tonight, I hear some statements about the comparison from then to tonight, and these one's state, that it's been 10 times better now, than it had been at this Melodic Rock Festival 7 days ago.

But we ain't that far jet in my report, and we start off with the supportband, who listen to the name of Dynaszty and they come from Sweden as well. The group members seem like they've just grown out of teenage age.

The first though coming to my mind by watching these kids on stage is: wauw - what a voice! No kiddin'! This boy Nils Molin, sings like a nitingale in a diverse sense. Holy shit, some old rockers could take an example by that. And I don't overdo it.
Musically Dynazty are going for a Power Metal style, nothing new, but thanks to their youth, with a huge encouragement.
They have formed in 2007 in Stockholm. Exept Molin, there are Joey Fox (bass), George Egg (Drums - Ex-Foxey), John Berg (git  Ex-Sharp) and Rob Love (Git. Zan Clan). As you can see, these boys have already a past, and I ask myself, whether they have started thier carriere already in their nappkins. 'Bring The Thunder' is the debut CD of this Fivesome. And the title holds, what they promise. Here the thunder is truly rolling.

Well done, I would say and the next swedish Metal Generation has one more artist to offer the world.
Whoever ain't here tonight or on any of the Clash Of The Elements tour dates, then he or she should really have a listen tu

The Poodles have choosen a Zylinder hat as the focus, which is worn with pride by singer Jacob, including some coole looking sunglasses.

Somhow he reminds me of Johnny Deep in the movie 'Charlie & The Chocolat Factory'. Only that our paradisebird is rather blonde-aubergine tainted. In each case tonight seems a good day for him and his band collegues, and there is nothing disturbing the enthusiastic atmosphere inside this livingroom. And everybody is celebrating a Rock'n'Roll party, as it couldn't be any better. Clash Of The Elements in the truest sense of the word, lik the title of the single 'I Rule The Night'. Only newbe since last time, is guitarist Henrik Bergqvist, who came in the band replacing Pontus Norgren, who had changed over to Hammerfall. Well, Mr. Berqvist hasn't got that long hair, like the other's, and he doesn't look as glamorous as our papagallo Jacob. But he can play his instrument. And that most important, ain't it?!

The Poodles pull every advantage they've got, pretty strong and rockin' but still somehow relaxed. And the famous sparkle is jumping on and backwards from the stage to the audiance and back again. And to name yet another song title to describe the situation here: The rock 'Like No Tomorrow'. Yeah well not too overdriven, but you can easily describe the Poodles appearance  as a solid Rock'n'Roll show

Inbetween they play an acoustic stint, whereby in my opinion that one could be missed.
Like the supportband, als the music of the Poodles ain't anything new or innovative, but again... it rocks. This band doesn't deliver high potential song material, as they are just a solid partyband, and of what I heard.... - not just on stage.
The fact, that Jacob Samuel changes his outfit at least 3 times during a show, I don't think, I have to mention.  - Nice for my camera anyway.....

Over all there is only left to say, that this evening has not been suitable for sophisticated musiclovers, but  is made for having a lot of fun and push up our moods with decent Rock'n'Roll   And we don't have the feeling , something is missing in the end.
Let's have a party with an open end....
