Jesus, Maria
and
Joseph, there are always new experiences in concerts, where I think my
generell music understanding has got some sort of limit, or am I just
simply too old. Too old anyway, as I'm definately the oldest one within
these aprox. 900 Death Core fans in here, when I look at all these
youthful faces. But reason fro beeing here is first of all is a
photocall like usually. And I mean, job is job, so what... Best thing to
do is - ears half closed and head through the wall. Most important is,
that I get some decent shots catching an interesting situation with my
lense. I have to admit, my description about following acts is a rather short one, as I don't think, I can judge this musical style in a neutral way for it's quality. Like mentioned in the beginning, it's maybe also my age. However, it's a fact, that this Death - Metalcore machinery goes down on the kids here like honey and seems very popular. So guess what... this stuff has truly got a right to be here. As we all know: everything is only show and entertainment.
For
this californian group this is their first visit to the european
continent. And with this trip, they introduce their debutalbum 'Faith
For Forgiveness'- This band has probably named themselves after a
chinese horror movie - same title.

üabout this Outfit can be found at:r And
these boys and girl also swam across the big pond to Europe.
Extraordinary is the frontgirl with her rather short bodysize. She
describes herself as the most ugliest frontwoman in Rock'n'Roll. Whereby
she rather looks like redcap with her behaved little girlie dress. But
dare you, when she opens her mouth and starts to scream out her metal
prayers. At this point not ear stays dry. And the whole scenery seems
somehow like a cartoon. To be honest, I've hardly every experienced such
a thing.
http://www.myspace.com/iwrestledabearonce They
come from Chicago, Illinois, and have just put out their firt record 'Depths'.
they've been founded i 2006 and they describe themselves as the most
pissed off band on the planet.
http://www.myspace.com/oceano They've
got lots of demos and 2 albums in their backpack, whereby 'Descent To
Hysteria' has just been released this year. From the original line up
there is only drummer Hector "Leche" de Santiago left. The
rest of the group has been exchanged over the years. On their my space
page there are anyway only 3 musicians mentioned, Ernie on guitar, Nick
on Bass and Lech on bass. Dun' know how much singer Johnny McBee is
involved in the band or the pretty girl.. http://www.myspace.com/asbloodrunsblack Horse, the Band from the Sunshine State are coming next.... They
describe themselves as the biggest partyband in the world with the most
intensive worldtour, they even booked themselves and this without
a management. 'Desperate Living' is the title of the new album and it
fits to their livestyle.

Architects are from Great Britain, or better definded from Brighton on sea, where they have been founded in 2004. Since the release of their third album 'Hollow Crown' this band have ensured a certain status of popularity, maybe thanks to their label Century Media. Fronted by singer Sam Carter, who still looks very young, - these boys beat the concrete out of the walls of this venue. And the kids seem to luv it and they are getting outta hand. And it even goes beyond the barriere at some points. No, you can say what you want, but the Architects are the first real highlight tonight...
http://www.myspace.com/architectsuk The Bandname speaks for itselves. Anyway, the headliner comes from Montreal, Canada, founded in 2002. These guys rather look like Hip Hoppers, and not like Metalheads But as we say so, the look doesn't mean anything, does it? Their new record 'Day Of Mourning' was released in the beginning of October. Reason enough to start a tour with 52 dates, named the Never Say Die tour. With two singers - Steve Marois and Alex Erian, they are trying to give the sound even more power. And in the middle of the set, the singer of the opener - The Ghost Within comes on stage to join them. - 'They are close Friends or our's' it's said...
Despised Icon go over the top and heat up the atmosphere with their luvable
canadian charme. And they manage to finish the kids in the audiance off
for good. |
PS:
also a Drummer wants to say bye bye . |
