Okidok, and to make it short. What else can i say about our cult horror-rocker number 1? Because literatually everythings has already been said within the last 4 decades. Whereby there have been certainly times, where his carriere had it's low and down's, exspecially between 1994 and 2000, where not much had happened.
But though Alice Cooper has increased his popularity again. His carriere shows 25 studioalbums, 14 live recordings and 8 DVDs. And apart from that Mr. Vincent Furnier (that's his real name), is involved in many other things. He appeared in many movies, mainly Horror movies of course as in Prince Of Darkness by John Carpenter or the sixth sequel of Nightmare on Elmstreet.
In that one he plays Freddy's father. He also played himself in Wayne's World and in the Road movie 'Roadie' feat. also Meat Loaf.
He is also a passionate Golf player, who's got handycap3. And despite his image, he is a christian and still attends church service every sunday.

On the  LP „Welcome to my nightmare” the US-Filmstar and actor Vincent Price (1911-1993) spoke the Intro for the Song „The Black Widow”. Cooper and Price became since then good friends.. Alice is also one of the Sponsors of the famous Hollywood sign. And he is the new Testimonial of the electro chain Saturn.
He also works as a radio DJ with his program  „A night with Alice Cooper“ which is broadcasted by several stations.

That's so far fro the Trivia, and I'm not sure anymore how often I've seen the shock rocker live on stage 'till this very day. I can only guess. But it must have been about 20 times at least. And tonight we got Nov. 6 2010, and there we go again to our Zenith venue here in Munich to experience the wonderful splatter show of Alice Cooper all over again. About 3.000 old and young fans have found their way here - elderly one's who have grown with Alice like myself, or the young dudes, who are just about to discover Alice for themselves.

The magic starts with the New-Rock Formation ‚Straight Frank’.

These guys are on their way now for 2 years and listen to the names of Tobias (Voc/Git), Kaspar (Drums), Henrik (Voc/Bass) and Coma (Git). And there is one record out which is to promote with this supportslot. The band describes their musical style as normal Rockmusik, but this one I think so, is surrounded by a very modern touch and is made for a rather young audiance. Anyway, the first impression is not a bad one indeed. Although I can't avoid the feeling, that Straight Frank would be received much better in a smaller venue, as if they do here at the huge Zenith, where they rather seem a little lost.

But well, this happens pretty often, so what?! I'm sure, that this band will find their way with more good music and a little luck - hope so!

Second support is served by Tarja Turunen, who I have given the nickname Diridari, just to make it more simple to pronounce.

Compared to her usual headliner shows, this performance is simply just missing the neccessary light. But it's only a couple of weak spots reflecting Tarja's beauty. Well, I do a bit hard to criticize this mixture of opera vocals and Heavy Metal, as this doesn't really meet my personal taste, though it surely got something to it. - More important is, that she does go well down at Munich's audiance. And that's the most important thing.

Currently the focus is put on the, in September released album 'What Lies Beneath', but we also get to hear older material of course. within her 45 minutes stint. And no, her coverversion of 'Poison' is not on the setlist on this tour - ask why?
Tarjas current backing back consists of: Mike Terrana (drums, Christian Kretschmer (Keyb.), Kevin Chown (Bass), Alex Scholpp )Git) and Max Lilja (Cello).

There is not much more left to say, exept the critics about the lack of light. And I surey have done better photos of Tarja in the past as tonight. So please excuse me. Last but not least -let's face it: our finnish Metal-opera diva doesn't really fit to Alice Cooper, does she... But who cares.

And there he is, the boss of Rock’n’Roll Horror, our Hardrock Jekyll & Hyde and the inventor of the Hardrock Frankensteins.

And Alice Cooper seems in his usual outfit and make up as if years have passed by without him getting any older. Only some wrinkles on the neck and a little double chin shows signs of aging. But this again is only discovered, when you're as close as I am right now in the photo pit, only 8 feet away. What's up to condion he is still up to date and not tired at all. Another aspect is the almost perfect professionality  of this show.

Everything is right and in place, even the smallest detail. And of course again we got all torture utensils. Inbetween you find some newbe's as the green monster at the song 'Feed My Frankenstein'. And only the snake is not taking part anymore. Since his beloved Boa Contrictor had died, Alice decided, not to have another one.

Also the Band is still the same as  3 years ago, when Cooper had toured last time together with Whitesnake, apart from Festival appearances. This is: Jimmy DeGrasso (Drums), Chuck Garric (Bass), Damon Johnson (Git) and Keri Kelli (Git) who draws some attention as well because of his sparkling appearance.

Oh and before I forget, there is Alice Coopers oldest daughter Calico Cooper,29, who is part of the show since the year 2000. acting as the nurse or other's.
Nop you can't complain. Although some of us have seen Alice several times before in the past, it is still an entertaining and amusing show, though there are some rumours, not everything is sung live. But 1) of all it's not proved, and 2) nobody really cares about it right now.

The program is a best of gourmet dinner, which is started off by 'School's Out - Alice biggest hit and is finished again with School's Out. Inbetween we get many pearls out of Alice Coopers treasure box, spiced with a little 'Theatre Of Tragedy" (see setlist below)

Pictures say usually more than a 1.000 words. So let them speak and I spare the next sequel of Lord of the Rings part 4

In any case, good old Alice has collected some more points and climbed up a little higher on the scale of popularity. Long live the cult character. And I only ask myself in the end: what, when all our rock legends - are legends one day?
