Okay, now we dive down deep again into the imaginary underworld of every passionate 666 Fan, who has gathered here at the Backstage Werk in Munich for a happy gathering in pale noir'. Christmas has passed a while ago and Easter Sunday is quite some weeks to go to, so don't be afraid, that a holy blessing might disturb our hellish party here. The venue here has changed into a catwalk what's up to Munich's fashion week. The variety is large and is sparking in all shades of black, from a fairy black to blackest black. In addition to that, we get the latest trend in Chanel make up, preferably  in natural white, blood red and coal around the bat glimpse. All that is completed by a posh espirit thanks to the optic aspect, where there is a choice between cat lense vertical and Frankenstein eye in bleu and all kinds of hair creations, also mostly in black. To make it short: it's the audiance here who'd be worth a photogallery. That's as far what the avarage vibe tells us about black mass. But that one again is not accompanied by Black metal tunes but rather dominated by a hard techno beat and... yeah well what is it? - Let's describe the whole thing as Techno-Metal. I can't think of any better right now. And these Kings of the Road, or better of tonight, some of you might remember from the Rammstein Tour, where Combi Christ played the opener set. This time it's them standing in the limelight of this evening, though in a much smaller frame, better described: from a cathedral moving into a chapel, But the altar is pretty much the same, only in a mini format.

Okidok, the dance of the witches may start, and to be honest, I didn't know 'till aftershow, who actually rang in the ouverture.

Centhron call their home the city of Bremen in the north of Germany, where they were born in 2001. So they are actually celebrating their 10th anniversary right now. The funny threesome are: Elmar Shmidt (mastermind), Anette Schmidt (Synth) and Markus Vogler(Bass) that's it. We don't need any drums here,as the synthy does this job as well. Apart from that, it does look a little different up there. For a quick info: Centhron have 3 chapters out, whereby their bible 'Roter Stern' from 2009 is their latest release. The twisted tongue does a not so easy understandable job with a slight tendence towards right wings. But this again is strictly denied by the band. So let us believe them for now, as it doesn't really matter here anyway. First of all you almost need spectacles for your ears to even understand the sung words due to the dominating electrobeat and second - the average visuall sight drives our central nervsystem pretty much away from the acoustic performance

Long live gasmasks, you won't believe it what such a plastic thing can do and of course the female input up on stage, which is still rarity within these circles. Not much more to come and after about 30 minutes the magic is finished  with a happy go lucky spirit.

But the Hades Party has just started, and next minute  the norwegians of Mortiis underline the average unerworld atmosphere here.

I've seen these guys for the first time in 2007, supporting Death Stars live on stage. And I have to say, they did indeed leave some impressions on me back then, and that again not only because of their visual style. So well, it has taken 4 long years until Håvard Ellefsen und Co.have found their way back to Munich. Meanwhile a new album named 'Perfectly Defect' has been released, and it is available for free downloading on the official website. This is very kind indeed, but I ask myself where the steak gets fried, if you know what I mean. Mortiis musical style is described as Ambient Industrial Electro-Rock-Pop. And that again maken me groaning because of this deficiant seperation in musical styles. For me myself and my tender ear it's more or less Heavy Metal, much more Metal than the other two participants of this tour trek. And despite the phantastic look, Håvard does know exactly how to put the music in front of everything. They really rock! And same as last time, I truly like thier performance, and I don't care about their image or whatsoever...

unforunately the local acoustic situation did not allow a better sound quality.
find here an official clip for listening.

But I do care about the absolute miserable light conditions, as photographing becomes a apocalyptic nightmare, followed by a orgy of swears because of these catastrophic circumstances. But well, I guess that all belongs to the suitable aura. And Castor and Pollux take care, that none of us paparazzi throws a holy flashlight up there on Stage. So we have to take what we get - Amen. Almost for one hour Mortiis spoil us with their music, whereby it's got to be said:  Mortiis is Håvard Ellefsen, and Håvard Ellefsen ist Mortiis, the rest is neccessary equipment.

As already with Centhron, there is no setlist available either for the archives. - And that's it again with this power package from Norway, who's energy gets unfortunately a little lost in the three quarter shade  in this well filled underworld.

everybody needs a little deadringer

’Making Monsters’, the Title of the current Longplayers couldn't be better for what we now get tastefully served  on this devil's plate...

Combichrist start their bombastic Samba Pa Ti  with lots of magnesium in the butt nicely served as a living portrait. And you can instantly see, or better hear, that these guys and the opener act are playing in the smae ligue stylistically. Only the individuell approach is a different one. Here we go for a big fat drum beat in a multiple version. The rest is done by synthi as well. But all those Zerberos apostels are more to guess as to spot in the foggy background of this hellish playground. Only Zerberos himself is playing with dolls front of stage.

He listens to his very own name of Ole Anders Olsen and comes also from the land of northern lights and fjords. But the countless fans of Combichrist know this king of the road  under the voluminous sounding artist name Andy LaPlegua. Yep, got it... within a sec - and even the last freak of aggrotechnic rhythm noise. Of course our comfi dancing combo comes much better across  than back then as opener for Rammstein. As mentioned before, now they are the bosses of the super gau in the truest sense of the word. Because all fans of this lot are  trying the latest hellish quick step right this minute without showing any mercy for Chanel's liquid make up and artistic hairstyles and stomp down everything around on this invisible pentagram. One smashhit is followed by the next one out of the Combichrist back catalogue and take it's toll

The individual adrenalin of all 750 bodies in here is speeding up on a new high level on the body indey scale and is urgently longing for a calm down.. But not before the 80 minutes are finished here. And that's the only thing, which gets criticiced  by the fans. But with 3 acts in this tour package, a 2 hours show ain't almost possible. The result of this evening are 3 hours of opulent illusion in a sparkling fata morgana, underlined by pressureful techno metal, whereby for me myself the real winners of this evening are Mortiis.. but only for me - what it seems....
