Punk comes from England - Amen! Okay, that might be the case. But on the other hand, as in the case of the Bones, we are talking here not of Punk as the Sex Pistols or the Exploited, but more or less of some sort of high energy punkrock. And that one has got it's home everywhere, this side or the other side of the ocean, and as in our case - in Sweden, more defined in Karlskrona.
All good things are thre, as we say so. And that's why we follow the call - off we go to see the Bones for the third time here in Munich at our Backstage. Whereby the past two times it was the Backstage Werk, which was destroyed the those Swedes. And this time it's the Backstag Hall. But this one tonight is bursting into pieces thanks to sold out facts.
16 years and still very loud, the Bones are still on their conquering march around the globe. Although it is still their latest studioalbum 'Burnout Boulevard' from back in 2007 which is leading this trip. Because since back then, not much has happened in that way exept the Live Release - 'Burnout Live' . So it's time for another CD, ain't it-.  And indeed the band is busy working on that, but couldn't finish it for this tour. Never mind, because fans mainly wanna rock till the drop at a Bones concert until - Viene la blue and the ultimate exhaustion.
Tonight I'm truly grateful to be able to shoot my pictures from above at the balcony. Everything else would have been suicide. And I didn't make my testament yet and haven't got a life insurance.

But first of all it's antisocial punkrock from Offenbach, Germany with the V8 Wankers

And those, lead by Lutz Vegas are also around for about 14 years in Germany's musical landscape. Jes... Picasso would have been delightes by so many colourful paintings, shown on those Botticelli bodies. And it's in fact these, the band is famous for. The current and seventh release 'Iron Crossroads' was put out last year, and it still gotta be promoted. One chance to promote this album is tonight supporting the Bones, unfortunately not the whole tour, but at least this night - still better than none at all. The V8 Wankers had been in Munich a few times before showing us their Rock'n'Roll philosophy. This time it's a little more difficult, as the audiance is focused a 100 percent onto the Bones. But out little painted front bacchus is showing such a selfconfidence and sexappeal, that there are no doubts about them.

Halleluja, no beerbottle stays cold and the liquid is flowing down the dry throats frequently, making them roar even louder. The place ain't that crowded at this early stage, but the V8 Wankers can manage to heat the already arrived Bones fans up. There is no when and but - only a cheers and I presume at the happy ending here, most of our kiddies here are too tired for that, what the band names says - or not? - (Eva don't get silly at this point :-))))

The Bones for the third time..... at least for me and they are starting once again with such a high energy, that all metal walls in here are bending like back then Uri Gellers famous spoons.

It's truly rockin' and shakin' in here with so much power. Though those boys do look actually so behaved and innocent I do have the impression - the older the better they get. But that's nothing new in the punk genre. Just look at our good old Wattie of the Exploited, who is heading towards 70 and still gets the universe explode at every show.
Our Swedish Punkheads here are just around 40 or 40 something, but they still show every youngster in the truest sense of the word how to beat down a place. A madhouse seems like a old people pensioners home compared with this here.

.
But fortunately from up there it's pretty comfi to follow the happening and take pictures. Boner aka Marcus Peterson is squeezing even the last tune outta his lungs, while Beef gets fed with nice cool beer inbetween. However... the battle of Waterloo repeats itselves here with such a high energy, that Napoleon's hairtoll is squirrling  green because of jealousy on cloud seven.
But over all this love for punk or punkrock, it's got a tiny disadvantage. And that one is the shortness of the set of just about 70 minutes. To be honest, there wouldn't be much petrol left anyway, though the Bones definately don't suffer a lack of conditions.

Well, how do we say so: the spice lies in the shortness. And the spice of this swedish band seems to be chilli - note 10. The audiance is dead as well, but happy and definately satisfied once again by this performance of the Bones. After show we do get the usual signing session, as always after a Bones massaquer.
And it's me as well making it short and painless... The Bones are - at least for me, one of the most driving punkrock bands of the younger generation, and they are, despite their cheak attitude, one of the nicest cuddly teddybears  I've ever met.  Hey that's a love spell, just to get me right, won't ya' verstanden haben.
