How do we say usually? Luck always comes 'round twice in life,.... yeah well, maybe even three times. Well, I guess, that's all a matter of coincidents. And of course, you can push it a little as well. So what I was goin to say, is: if I wasn't so curious about music in genrell, I'd definately miss out on quite a bit - good and bad.

120 events each year is my usual quote. And as I have mentioned several times in the past, among all those, there are many great one's, but also quite a few disasterous shows. But there are also these opportunities with this special little something, those where the sparkle is doing a Salto Mortale, those, which I can count on five fingers usually within 12 months of events. These are concerts, where you hope that they never end. Time and place doesn't matter, the jungle heat feels like a slight spring sunshine. And we could stand on one leg, without missing the other one.
Well within the past year it's been four times the case. And one of those Special little Sparkles was named Little Caesar, who by the way took care for quite a surprise , when they came to Europe first time after their reunion. Because this band didn't have much in common with the - back then tattooed Garage Rockband, yeah well maybe exept the tattoes, which are, as known, hard to remove. But you know... we all don't get any younger, do we. And to be honest, at first sight - back then last year - the expectations weren't too high, thinking first, we got one of these elderly bands, who were desperately trying to get back on the scene to repeat those old long past days.
But.... what a hell of a surprise, when these five guys in their fifties shot of  as if there is no tomorrow and next moment the milky way is colliding with the andromeda galaxy. A firworks of timeless Rock'n'Roll exploded that heavily, that first of all, we thought this was a fata morgana. But it definately wasn't and the average enthusiasm was endless.  Long talk short sense - Little Caesar are indeed the living proof  that 20 years difference must not mean a loss of energy and quality. I presume, I don't have to mention here, that I and many other's too received a deep impression, lasting for a long time, in fact, 'till this very day.
However it is a fact, that artists, such as this rockband, who were away from the scene for more than 15 years, don't do easy for a second spring time. - Times have changed, the music business is not the same as it used to be. And the present is orientated financially only. So the reason for this reunion allows only one answer, and this is: "I Love Rock'n'Roll" .
LIttle Caesar didn't make the mistake to think that this second run puts 'em back onto the top of the international hitlists, just as it happened back in 1990 with Aretha Franklin's Song Cover of Chain Of Fools' which  had put them on a supersonic flight to the moon.

Take it easy was and is the slogan, and next to the usual day to day job, new song ideas developed and were pressed on CD. The result carried the title 'Redemption' and came out in 2008. Last year's tour trip was sort of a vacation for the band as well, as the risk was rather high to land on the belly button, as we say so. But someone must have told them, that Europe is the non plus ultra for Rock'n'Roll nowadays. The band got the answer to that on last year's club tour, where fans showed a huge nostalgic enthusiasm, and also people, who have heard the name for the very first time.
In fact the echo had been really huge on both sides, so Little Caesar decided  to repeat this trip as soon as possible.
And there is is, the next chance to take vacation for yet another european tour trip.
Why Munich had been left out on both journeys so far is only known to the tour promoter. Back then last year it was Kufstein in beautiful Tyrol, Austria. This time, the closes place to Munich, where Little Caesar is playing, is Regensburg.
But because of last year's overwhelming experience, many fans have come from Munich tonight and from all over the place to see 'em again and receive yet another Rock'n'Roll orgasm. And I do belong to those as well. Though I've got some slight doubts. Because out of my experience , I know, that such a great show, like the last one's draws the individual expectations for the second time up to an astronomical height, which often can't get fullfilled again. This doesn't mean that the second time you see this band, is bad at all, but it might have got stuck at one level and doesn't offer us any new surprises anymore, such as it did at the first time. - I hope you got me, what I meant with this....
However, and apart from all these philosophies, I can only advise you all out there no too often take the Motorway A9 between Munich and Ingolstadt currently. The slight delay due to a 10 miles building site in both directions doesn't neccessarely invite you for a coffee and cake break. And even the promise, that some time in the future, we will enjoy more space on this freeway, doesn't help right now.
As far as I remember, my last trip to Regensburg is about 20 years ago, if not longer. And also this time, I don't get to see much of the City, exept the famous cathedral from far away. But therefore I get to know the Old Mälzerei for the first time outside and inside including a nice beergarden behind the house and the Sahara. - Sahara, because the current temperatures remind us very much on this place on earth. The band themselves even say, that this here is the hottest day on the tour with a felt 60 degrees centograde - far above 100 Fahrenheit. Mind you, they boys just did a few shows in Spain, where it is supposed to be hotter than here. But apparently not and so Death Valley has found a new home - the old Mälzerei venue.....

There is a local support band as well named Sbeks, who's average age is....sweet little sixteen.

And I do pull my hat in front of these kids, who's idols seem to be most of all bands such as Guns'n'Roses, who's big hits were written, when they weren't even born. And so I will not criticise them too hard. I mean, how should they possbilly got any experience or a hell of a practice yet. But the fact, that these six kids are stepping up there on stage, trying  to perform those songs of their idols - and they are not that bad, believe me. - is simply great.
Sbeks, that's what they are named, are: Martin, Verena, Alexander and three times Andreas are doing their job with so much heart, that you can actually feel this. Their program contains smash hits such as the one's of Guns'n'Roses, or
t. Ihr Programm enthält etliche bekannte Gassenhauer. Das fängt bei den, eben erwähnten Guns’n’Roses an, über ‚Let Me Entertain You’ by Robbie Williams, Mighty Quinn in the Gotthard-Version,  ‚I Love Rock’n’Roll’ by Joan Jett or ‚Sweet Caroline’ and ‚Rockin’All Over The World’ by Status Quo 'till  ‚Centerfold’by the J.Geils Band, just to name a few....

And believe it or not, the band even does to originals, which don't sound bad at all....

The musical new generation is about to fly free. They do it with passion, and for the luv of music, and not because they think, they are the new superstars of tomorrow. But I mean who knows... maybe the Rock Chick is about to find a corn round the corner of Regensburg one day, you never know. For the moment, Sbeks are just happy that they have got the possibillity to play live here and the chance to support Little Caesar. More Infos about Sbeks you find below the next picture....

Meanwhile our Death Valles has devloped into the surface of the sun, which is just preparing fo the next erruption.

And the fact,  that not a tiny desert flea finds room to move anymore in here, the individual comfiness gets into danger...

It’s Show Time and after only 3 minutes it becomse clear, - Little Caesar's helium is not burned down since last year's sunstorm. Up  there the fire is still burning. And this one is produced by five musicians. who are definately proving, that A) the 80s and 90s Rock'n'Roll ain't dead yet and is, as I said before, still timeless, and B) these boys of my generation are still putting every 20 year young in their pockets, as much as their energy provides.
The nice thing about their music is, that it has nothing to do with trends and doesn't put any dust on. Rock'n'Roll such as Little Caesar  play, belong to this sort, which is lifting the earth out of it's angle, glowing in the upper atmosphere. The Band around singer Ron Young has created a master recepy for themselves, which is sort of a ping pong effect. As known enthusiasm is infecting everybody. And so Little Caesar are immidiately getting back what they just spread out a moment ago, only to explode within the whole unit.

The setlist doesn't show any rest or break just as a ballad, but straight forward Rock'n'Roll which couldn't be any better. It's actually not what songs they are playing, it's rather how they perform those. The egg of the Columbus is rocking, bursting in sparkles, pushin our adrenalin level up to 320 and more...

Taking care therefore are also the two pearls 'Redemption' and the brand new baby 'American Dream', which just got to know the sunny side of the earth. Unfortunately the law of the international musical jungle still rules: what the farmer doesn't know, he won't even taste, as we say so. And so those oysters stay closed with their precious pearls inside
and only insiders get a teaser. The rest of the wider musical community is pretty much too lazy to open the shell, or don't even give it a try. And my own Convincion is growing due to the fact, that there ain't actually any trends in music.
Everything and I mean  really everything is only a thing of right promotion. And I dare to bet, that if you put our band here on a hot rotation at 10 public radiostations and give 'em 3 title stories in established print mags, then Little Caesar would enjoy certainly an upper class status in Rockmusic again.
But unfortunately it doesn't run that way. And so we have to change our mind again and say: thanks god, there are still bands around such as Little Caesar, thanks god, they are back again, and thanks god, they are standing on this stage here right at this very moment ans show us, what Rock'n'Roll is really all about. The icing of our cake is of course 'Chain Of Fools', and not to forget the adaption of 'I Wish It Would Rain', orignally recorded by the Temptations in 1967.

Little Caesar are: Ron Young: (Voc), Loren Mulinare (Git),  Joey Brasler (Git), Fidel Paniagua (Bass) Tom Morris (Drums) whereby only guitarist  Brasler is a newbe. The rest comes from the glory early ninties era, when the hair was still long and the tattoos were there to show off. Well the wild times are definately over, as Ron Young says up there tonight, but this is more considering the life style, the look and the general attitude. The music and the spirit is still the same than back then. And so it doesn't matter, when we all look like behaved midldeaged cuddly teddybears. We all don't get any younger. And what the Rolling Stones can do with almost seventy, everybody else can do, when you just got the right attitude.  The drive on stage is still the same, and the temperature in here has  screwed up to above the sunshine.

well, this ain't about showing any tattoos, than rather getting
 some air within this heat

Never mind, because the orgasm of last tour has indeed found a continuation, and has even got a little more intensive. And so this evening does definately belong to those events giving us this special little something. Let's wait and see. how many of this sort we will get this year - counted on one hand's fingers.
The only left hope is the promise of Little Caesar to be back as soon as possible for the next Rock'n'Roll vacation.
Well, we all live for Rock'n'Roll, don't we......
