When taking pictures in 3 venues at 3 different concerts on one evening, it takes most of all - timing, quickness and organization. And it only works, when all 3 venues are located next to each other. The only thing to be missed out at such an action, is the fact, that you just can't enjoy any of those musical performances. And so I can't offer you a real live review at this point, but only some pictures, liner notes and a brief first impression.
Our Backstage area is actually made for the visit of more than one shows, because the way from the Werk to the hall and from there to the club and back again to the Werk doesn't take longer than about 1 minute.
Well I guess, I won't get into the Guinness Book of Records with such an action, but on the other hand, it happens only very rarely, that this happens at all.
So it's about time to start off...

First of all it's Gothic Rockers Lacrimosa, who start their 3 hours set (with a little break inbetween and no supportact)  at strike 8 p.m.
Reason for this current concert trip is the new album 'Revolution'. A quick word to this outfit, which formed back in 1990 by Tilo Wolf. Four years later finnish Anne Nurmi joined in. And so actually Ladrimosa which means as much as rich of tears, are those two. The rest of the musicians in the bands are employee's for this tour I guess.
But though Lacrimosa now have 11 studioalbums out so far, had some chart success in the past and tour the globe on a regular base, they can not enjoy a sold out place here tonight. Some of the venue is cut off by a black curtain, and there are aprox. 300 fans of ocuult- dark-gothic subculture, dressed in posh noir. (I'm really outstanding with my snowwhite hootie)

Lacrimosa's music is melo dramatic as expected, but on the other side also mixed with some heavy drive.
Well, you need some faible for this kinda music, to enjoy it with all it's shades and grey's. But that's what all those fans do here anyway. I've got about 30 minutes to inhale the theatralic twilight zone of Lacrimosa, then it's about time to change the spot from this venue to the opposite situated somehow smaller hall...

In there, second supportact of Dying Fetus, named Revocation are just playing their last song. (by the way, the opener was named Cerebral Bore, but did play without my presence because of Lacrimosa over there)

This is an extreme metalband, who is going since the year 2000, having yet released three albums. I've got about 2 minutes time to shoot some images, then they already say good bye. And I once again change over to the smallest place here - the Club.

This again is a thing of about one minute to change from the Halle to the club, as they are situated in the same uilding. And at the club, there is Mnemic playing tonight including also 3 supportacts. Here as well, the opener played without me, and now it's swiss metalheads Sybreed standig up there on this stage to introduce us to their new and fourth album 'God Is An Autonmatum'.

Those have been founded nine years ago and describe their style as industrial-alternative Metal with a futuristic touch. And it is easily to recognize, that this package here is not quite as hard as the one playing the hall. MInd me, it's still thrashmetal...

Never mind, no time left, to change over again to the Hall, where Job For A Cowboy have just started their set in front of the aprox. 400 fans and beat them their aggressions off their butts.

These guys from Glendale Arizona, had been here quite a few times before at our Backstage, and they are standing for heart dropping Death Core Metal. (please don't get me to explain those fine differences between all those Metal styles:-) 'Democracy' is the title of the brandnew and fourth longplayer. Unfortunatley the light is such a disaster up there on stage, that I'm forced to use a flashlight now and then.

Never mind - pictures are done, and back again to the Club, where it takes only minutes for Hatesphere to storm the stage.

One Ritual of this band is their intro. The mostly young audiance here, doesn't know the melody, but of course I recognize immidiately what this is. It's the theme of Seventies cult TV series 'The Persuaders' feat. Roger Moore and Tony Curtis. (listen to the  Opener)
When singer Esben 'Esse' Hanses looks at thos just about 100 fans, he comments immidiately "Circlepit please". - Well, he's got some humour, doesn't he?. And Hatesphere shoot off, as if the world is facing it's very last day.

UAnd so it's confirmed: there is nothing wrong in the state of Demark (as Hamlet once upon a time were pressuming) - Anyway, this lot hasn't got a new product in the can. Their latest release goes back to 2011 and carried the title 'The Great Bludgeoning'. But the band is doing well here indeed. And I have to leave this once again...for the other side.

And back at the Halle we are coming to an end with the headliner there. And this one is Dying Fetus.

This threesome from Anapolis, USA, is going now for 21 years and has 9 albums released. The new one named
'Reign Supreme' has just arrived. And they are very hard and even louder, - I mean really really loud. The venue is boling, and there is no trespassing throughout the Moshpit.

So, quickly some shots done, and then off we go again straight through the mid.... no rather on the side...

Okay, we've got one more - over there in the Club. And this is the headliner as well named Mnemic...

This is a denish-french thrashmetal band. The name Mnemic is a short version of „Mainly Neurotic Energy Modifying Instant Creation“ and also stands for the greek goddess of mind Mnemosyne. The group itselves describe their style as 'Future Fusion Metal'. And the bilance shows 14 years and 5 albums incl. the latest one 'Mnemesis'.

Compared with Dying Fetus over there in the hall, Mnemic are not quite as brutal, though they of course belong also to the category Thrashmetal. Not much more to say here, Mission done, and I am gonna pray my amen for tonight and Lacrimosa, Dying Fetus and Mnemic -

It's a fact, my longings for Death - Thrash, Metalcore or what the hell soever are more than satisfied including the gothic weaping willows from the beginning. And that's why I'm doing my very own personal circle pit now and off we go straight home with  happy go luck tinnitus tendences for a well deserved
night rest.
