My god, how long has this been, since I have seen this band last time playing live on stage? Yeah well, it's been back in 1990 at the London Marquee Club. I remember pretty well, as those four american musicians, who out out an explosive rockshow, but earned rather weary reviews because of the oral similarity to AC/DCs Brian Johnson....
And that was it for the next 23 years. Although the hiatus of this band didn't take that long, but only between 1994 and 2001 or better 2006. Which on the other hand is too long for connecting only there where they had stopped. But George Dolivio is a stand up man and has decided to give it a new shoot, working hard within the jungle of the endless music business. Maybe it's been also a help, that the song 'Welcome To Hell' from the 2006 reunion album 'And then It Got Ugly'  had been used for the movie 'The Wrestler'. Well, though it didn't help for a big break through either. But this was at least followed by 3 more albums. And the next chapter is already scheduled still for this year.
In Europe Rhino Buckets are guest again on a more or less regular base for the past few years. And now they have landed for the very first time in Munich in our number one rockclub the Garage. Surprisingly the place is really croweded with about 100 people, which means well filled and the beer is flowing heavily.

Funnily  I notice, that original members George Dolivio and bassist Reeve Downes haven't changed much within the past 23 years, yeah well.... almost.... but not worth to mention the difference ;-)

And as well as the visual aspect, also the stage show didn't change much and of course not the musical style... But I can notice a certain frustration Georpge puts out due to some comments about the industry inbetween the songs. So for instance he says, that we all should download Rhino Bucket music illegally and as often as we want to. Because the damn labels always take the icing of the cake and sometimes there is nothing left for the artists. Every artist should marketing himself, he comments, as this does a lot more....

The Fans dig this, but next moment everything is forgotten, as here the bear is stepping and Rhino Bucket let the walls shaking....
The setlist shows a decent retrospective of the band from their beginnings around 1990 with their selftitled album until the latest release ‚Who’s Got Mine’ from 2011.

And we got offered some brand new tracks, which are included on the new album, where we don't know the exact release date yet. But it is scheduled for this summer, as George asures us. Almost for 2 hours Rhino Bucket offer us their sweat beating Rock'n'Roll. And at listening carefully to it, we get the slight impression that in fact, they do not sound sooooo similar to AC/DC and truly have also an individual note. And that's the point in the end, which makes this concert rather interesting as a matter of fact. Afterwards the band does communicate with the fans and sign autographs etc and promise, that they will be back next year...
So come on - and download the hell outta it what's up to Rhino Bucket, then it will surely work out in every way....
