Anlässlich
ihres neuen Nummer-Eins-Albums “Always”, das bei uns am
26.02.2010 erscheint, gaben Norwegens beliebteste Rockband STAGE DOLLS,
zwei bejubelte Konzerte vor ca. 1000 Landsleuten in Trontheim am
08.01. und eben am 15.01. hier in Oslo.
Im
Gegensatz zu sonst üblichen Gigs von Torstein Flakne (Vocals &
Guitar), Terje Storli (Bass), Morten Skogstad (Drums) und Gastkeyboarder
Ronny Wikmark (zusammen mit Torstein Flakne auch Produzent der neuen
CD), gab es diesmal eine amtliche Bühne mit LED-Wänden und Unterstützung
von je zwei weiblichen und männlichen Backgroundsängern.
Coinciding to
their new Number One Album 'Always', which will be out in Germany on
Feb. 26. Norways most popular rockband - the Stage Dolls played 2
concerts in their home country, one in Trondheim on jan 8., and one in
Oslo on the 15th, in front of aprox. 1.000 fans.
Compared to other usual gigs of Torstein Flakne (Vocals &
Guitar), Terje Storli (Bass), Morten Skogstad (Drums) and Guest
keyboarder
Ronny Wikmark (Wikmark und Flakne co produced the new CD) this time they
had LED lights and walls on Stage as well as two male and two female
background singer.

Wie
es sich für ein Releasekonzert gehört, wurden fünf der zehn neuen
Songs vorgestellt, wobei der Mitsingpegel bei der Singleauskopplung ‚Raining
On A Sunny Day’ am höchsten stieg. Aber aufgrund der fast schon
unheimlichen Bühnenpräsenz der beiden Bandleader, Torstein und Terje,
wurden auch die restlichen Songs mächtig abgefeiert.
The Stage Dolls
introduced five of ten new songs to the audiance, whereby the resonance
and sing along reached it's peak at the single 'Raining On A Sunny Day'.
But because of the huge aura of both frontmen Torstein and Terje the
energy level stayed pretty much the same.
Völlig
ausgerastet ist das trinkfreudige norwegische Publikum dann bei den
Klassikern ‚Love Cries’ , ‚Wings Of Steel’ und ‚Love Don´t
Bother Me’.
The
norwegian audiance, who apparently also luvs their drinks, went almost
nuts at the classic tunes of
‚Love Cries’ , ‚Wings Of Steel’ and ‚Love Don´t
Bother Me’.
Beendet
wurde der zweistündige Gig traditionell mit ‚Soldiers Gun’.
Eigentlich
ist ja jedes STAGE DOLLS KONZERT ein Erlebnis. Aber was da in Norwegen
abgeht, insbesondere was die ausgelassene Feierlaune betrifft, , ist mit
deutschen Verhältnissen nicht vergleichbar und wurde auch auf der
anschließenden After-Show-Party noch untermauert. Und somit hat sich
die Reise nach Norwegen definitiv gelohnt. Trotzdem hoffen wir, dass die
Stage Dolls irgendwann auch zu uns nach Deutschland wieder zurück

The 2 hours show
was finished traditionally with 'Soldiers Gun'
Actually each Stage Dolls concert has been some kind of special
happening so far. But the huge luv and devotion what fans showed here
tonight is far from our german circumstances - shame on us here. And
this great mood was even underlined at the aftershow Party. - So the far
journey to Norway was definately worth while. Although we hope that the
band will return to our country again as well one day. (Remember Rock
Over Munich in Jan. 2009)
