To be honest, it's been quite a while now, that I haven't found any words and I do not know what to say. Bcause at this event here, there is actually nothing more to say. It's simply 100% brilliant, excellent and absolutely great. No surprise, 'cause up there, there are three worldclass musicians, who belong to the top of the league, withoud overdoing it. For everyone of you, who do know a little bit about good rockmusic, I don't need to introduce these guys . Virgil Donati, the australien born with the huge power (why are all drummers rather small guys???). Tony Mc Alpine, who has got himself already a name with many soloalbums and also shares the stage with Steve Vai, handles his guitar like a computer keyboard. And Billy Sheehan, our wellknown bassist - from David Lee Roth 'till Mr. Big and also occupied with Steve Vai, treats his instrument so neatly, that it's gotta be pregnant at least 5 times within minutes. But to round up the magic spell, you just have to multiply those three genius with each other, and you get the ultimate result  of musical perfection. Last time I've experienced this, was at the recent gig of the Tony Levin Band in Munich. But with the slight difference, that this band rather goes for complex and complicated soundstructures in a more relaxed way, while our heroes here rather follow a high voltage - speed of light action. And this all played in such a exploding way, you just can't follow the moves of their hands with your eyes.

And again I have to admit, that I'm not a musician, who would see things in a rather different and more technical way. I for myself can only tell you my impression with the understanding of a musicjournalist for 24 years with a bit experience to get a decent review for the average music lover. I hope I'm doing it right.

Aprox. 200 freaks, fans or nosy spectators attend a show of this threesome, like here tonight, to convince themselvers about the huge talent and knowledge. Compared to yesterdays gig in Wörgl, Austria, where some people left after a few minutes, 'cause they probably expected a remake of Mr.Big and 'To Be With You' - (according to a friend)  here in Ingolstadt everybody is staying 'till the very end. Compared to a concert in munich, I don't know many people here, so I can't really tell, whether the crowd consists more of musicians or normal music fans. But afterwards I can hear some guys saying, that it was almost too much of great playing. No god damn, no - it is definately not. This is pure powerrock with an intensive output, and like I said beefore: faster than the speed of light. Each of the boys gets his solo highlight, his solo flashlight. The bass goes for a 5times salto mortale and enjoys  a bavarian beer afterwards, while the drumkit gets beaten up

in a way, that we get the feeling  - that's the very last day.

Don't worry, it's not happening, - therefor Virgil is miles to good in what he's doing, like any of them. Only Tony doesn't use his opportunity in full circles and stands in the shade of the other two boys. Which does not mean, he is not excellent like the others.
But the hero of the night - somehow is Billy Sheehan (and i'm not saying that, because I know him for quite a while now) . And while he's having  his third bottle  of bavarian gold and abviously  shows affection to the drink, he lets his strings go bungee jumping.

After 90 minutes and one encore the magic is finished, but what's up to me, they could have played for another 3 hours. I wouldn't have mind it. Bu like I always use to say: no matter - who is what playing on stage - a concert is good, when you forget the time, wish that it never ends, and your feet don't hurt
And in this case it's absolutely and 150% right.  - At least in my case.....
