what - again ...???? - some of you will shout out. Because our sweet swedish bomb - rock export just had been here last november in Munich. On the other hand why not. (Swedish bombs are a special kind a' sweets and it tastes delicious)
Beefy and the Boneys are always taking care for a good party mood, which makes the walls shaking. This here is pure Rock'n'Roll without doubts, and loud and with no time to breath. And no, Bones music ain't something extraordinary. But it is this famous drive and sparkle, pulling us  along, as I described it in my review from last time (hier).
That's why I won't loose too many words this time. Nothing really has changed either, and the album which gets promoted is also still the same - Burnout Boulevard. Only difference is the location, which now is the Backstage Werk and not the smaller halle anymore. And of course the supportact is another one.

To be honest, usually I don't go to see a band twice in such a short time distance inbetween, because I've got to go to too many other events and 2) it could be  boring, exept something is really good or extraordinary. In this case the band ain't really extraordinary, but they are still great, with a hell of an energy and speed what makes every party explode when they do their rain dance up there. These arguments, and also I like these guys a lot personally, made me  come again to send them a big kiss up on the stage .
And I can asure you, an appearance of these scandinavians doesn't leave your big toe sober, training it for the Rock'n'Roll Olymp in kickboxing - a risk for injuries included.

This time Support comes from Munich named 'Sixes & Sevens'. And till the very day, I did'nt have the slightest clue, that they actually existed.

Although they seem to live around the corner according to the website. They call their music Backyard Rock'n'Roll, which is a mixture of Rocabilly and Punk, presenting it since 2000. A debutalbum named 'Brand New Gun' came out in 2005. And right now they are working on a follow up.
Sixes & Sevens are Christoph (Voc), Sudi (Leadgit), Gernot (Git), Flo (Bass) und Bodo (Drums). And yes, I'm taken by a positive surprise, cause the bavarian Tattoo Jack Daniels Rock'n'Roller have clearly chilly in their buts. I'm saying this without hesitation, as we are normally pretty sceptical about local bands /how come???)
Sixes & Sevens are taking care of a voluminous take off - in our Werk. The only thing holding them back is the usual lower power you've got as a support act. but apart from this, there is nothing really to complain. Their own songs are interrupted by a coverversion of Zodiac Mindwarps - Backseat Education, whereby singer Christoph announces this track with the words: "the next song is a cover of...... which nobody here probably knows...." - Are you sure about that.... Anyway, it's getting down well including the Rock'n'Roll Whiskey brand No. 1 getting a lot attention inbetween.

That’s it so far, and I presume these boys put out even more energy doing a solostint sometime....
Oh yes before I forget.... Mark, a.k.a. Zodiac Mindwarp is sending his regards and says thank you for the dedication...

... and here they are again, and Beefy rolls on stage, followed by Spooky, Andy and Boner, who are starting the set so powerful, that our beer starts boiling in the beekers.

Cheers and have a good one..... these, in the beginning mentioned - swedish bombs, which tastes so great are either covered with chocolate or in cocos. In my home country in Austria you get them on every corner, but here in Germany you only got similar one's named Dickmanns, which look almost the same, but don't taste far as good.

So, and when you take such an original swedish bomb, put them in some fresh breadroll,  squeeze it, and then have an enjoyable bite, this is close to an orgasm. Tonight on stage we have the living oposition, who are also swedish originals. Yeeesssss, the comparison talks for itselves and what's up to the bomby taste. The chocolate is melting immidiately in the heat of the battle on stage and leaves a prickly foam, spreading itselves over us fans. And we do suck it with an increasing exitment till we get an....

....yeah well, - in the photopit you don't get there really, beeing so busy to get as many as possible impressions within 3 songs. And there are quite a few interesting visual impressions offered. Whether it's Beefys way to say hello (see left pic below) , Andys - John Wayne Cowboy hat, the most beautiful eyes of Sweden, what's up to Boner or the drum scenery of Spooky.

And of course not to forget all these countles colourful icing on sexy naked skin. It's almost like a living art gallery. Picasso and Van Gogh would swallow their painting brush in their graves if they could see this beauty. But fortunately our painting up here  don't melt away, otherwise the magic would be gonne within seconds  with this power and the gladiators heat, our sweeties put out up there.
But so we can enjoy the swedish spicy delicacies,  with all our senses and get carried away from this straight foward rockmusic. It's as tasty as the first time I saw them 6 months ago. The Burnout Boulevard becomes cockaigne, and it's sweeties waiste themselves 'till the boiling point.

Holy old Swedes.... as we say so over here..... Boner probably goes through every torturing methodes of the acoustic inquisition, what's up to his vocal chords. But as we use to say - only the hard ones survive. He doesn't save his energy and squeezes himself inbetween a prickly bread.... or better within the heat of the Backstage Grill getting boiled. -
End is good, everything is good. And the Party is over again..... with a longlasting echo and a sweet taste for original swedish bombs, tattooes, Jägermeister and Calvin Klein....
and tomorrow we get a cooking lesson....
