Jesus wept... let's do a prayer, because finally god is coming to Munich on his thriumphmarch around the globe. And yes, it took long enough, didn't it. Exactly six years, 'till now finally the Rock'n'Roll train stopped here. The tickets were faster sold out, then the speed of light shoots from the moon to earth. Some poor sods only catch the train speeding by from the outside. And they save a prayer for all those scheduled open air festivals in summer to get an entry at least for these one's.
However, AC/DC are rolling on with all the power, a highspeed train can offer.
A little older and some more wrinkles on the butt, but phyiscally not a wink weaker than last time, that's Angus and Malcolm Young, Brian Johnson, Cliff Williams and Phil Rudd. Some fans already queue 5 hours or longer before the event actually starts. Halleluja, the evening prayer has been already done and everybody is waiting for a luxury dinner including lots of goodies.

including of course a frontcourse which is irish and comes from The Answer.

Young, fresh vegetable, which couldn't be tastier, who is offering us a modern kind of old fashion Rock'n'Roll and did quite well in the past.
Unfortunately they do not have much time to prove their qualities. It's only about 30 minutes. But on the other hand, which band is so privileged to support AC/DC on the whole world tour. So face it under the aspect, that Cormac Neeson and his boys certainl collect some more bonus points, as the older collegues of AC/DC must have been pretty impressed, to give the irish group this long term job. I myself can't almost believe, that it's more than two years now, that I've seen The Answer last time
live on Stagein Munich. The clubgig just a couple of weeks ago at the Backstage Club, I have left out, as I knew, I would see the band tonight. And yep, they don't disappoint us once again with their great mixture of cheek hardrock, including a touch of Led Zeppelin, and a Cormac Neeson, who can manage to put himself into trance, even in only just 30 minutes. However, I'm pretty sure, that after finishing this job here for one of the most popular rockacts in the world, they will be back again soon - as headliner's of course....

.... and after a short break, the Rock'n'Roll train drives into the Olympiahall with lots of steam, noise and fire.....

Congratulatins, this had made a whole lot of impression on the 12.000 fans here, some of them not older than 12 years young. This is great. After more than 4 decades there is still a very young generation, coming up, and listening fascinated to the idols of their parents. And they probably go and take all of daddies old longplayers to catch up with the history of AC/DC. The rest of us is very familiar with the group
s history and music. And it tastes better and better the older we and the music get's. It's like old wine. Long talk short sense, King Angus and Co. are practicing  the same stuff and stageshow, costumes and songs from the very beginning of their carriere, and they never changed anything. Only the slogan is a new one every time they come along with a new records and tour.

And what shall I say? Brian Johnson, 62 years of age is still stomping on stage like a hard worker, and if any of you still mourn about the glory Bon Scott times, then I can only say: yes of course he belongs to the band history, but meanwhile Brian is so much longer in the band, than Bon has ever been. And Brian has recorded with AC/DC their most successful album 'Back In Black' That's a fact, and that's why he should be accepted by everybody. Last but not least it's his voice, which has become sort of a brand to AC/DC.

However....

Angus,53 now, still fits in his former school uniform, which he owns in at least 5 different colours. Tonight he prefers a neat blue. The size has probably stayed the same, since he was 12. The same what's up to his endless energy.

Halleluja, recently someone told me, why still having AC/DC, when we got the next generation of Aribourne, just having played Munich before Christmas. But wrong... I can honestly say, that Angus here, overrolls the youngster of Airbourne Joel O'Keefe easily  in condition matters. Mr. Young does a marathon up there including roll overs and sweaping the stage floor. And he surely takes over 70 % of the band's body movements.
Which ain't a surprise on the other hand, as brother Malcolm, Drummer Phil and bassist Cliff always stand in the background and just do their job.

Exspecially Malcolm catches my eyes, as he makes the impression on me, that I have to give him a few cents to buy something to eat, as skinny as he looks like.

Anyway, everything  what started with a big bang on the Rock'n'Roll train is continuing with lots of smashhits and classic tunes (see setlist) like always, heavenly and untouchable.

The first musical highlight after the very impressing intro is the classic song 'The Jack'. A track, which exists for more than 30 years now and consists of timeless bluesrock. And it's sexy rhythm let's Angus do his usual strip, like in every AC/DC show, showing .... not his butt anymore, but a sexy boxershort with the band's logo.

Within an interview he once siad, that he felt not young enough anymore to still show his bum, and he wants to spare people hsi wrinkles. Yeah well  understandable somehow :-) Although some of us are a bit disappointed not to get to see the whole naked truth. But again this is forgotten soon, because now Angus really get's into his element, beeing lifted up by sort of a tower above the crowd.

Well done, and the enthusiasm is huge and endless. Of course there's the Hell's Bell, free of rust of course, while the imaginary fire on the Highway to Hell and the 6 canons for a powerful salute you.

Oh well, this is great without any doubts. And I'm warning you if any of you complains about the slightest thing, then I promise you, that you get killed by all the other 11.999 freaks here. Like I said before, AC/DC are holy and the greatest and untouchalbe to repeat myself. And whenever in 100 or more years, the Hell's Bell's still do their job and the school uniform is shown in it's best ironed condition, including the sexy shorts and the devil's horns....

.......then we all come back again, including our grandchilds with tears in our eyes and jump  up on the Rock'n'Roll train. And dare them, if only one requisit is missng.... forever - amen!
