Yiippiieeehhh he's back again, the man with the most beautiful blue eyeson this planet and a sexappeal, that Robert Redfort seems like Pater Brown with rheumatism on the northpole at his high times. Well, don't let me be that modest, and even leave Brad Pitt and George Clooney behind us. But as everything in life is a matter of individual taste, we leave it up to the bluest eyes behind the Jupiter and the fact, that it is almost exactly  one and a half years ago, that these two metamorphosis of Rock'n'Roll have visited us here in Munich. Whereby it rather seems, that Guru Guru and also Birthcontrol  seem to undergo a nonstop training for the show - ironman. And there physical potential is enourmous despite their advanced youth  and no viagra is needed.
But Munich doesn't always seem to be on their tour plans, That's probably the reason of the long break. Never mind, we are here again, still in the same line ups - both bands. Only the show-time order has changed. Last time it was Birthcontrol who took the first step and Guru Guru took the headliner role. This time it's the other way round. Guru Guru are asking for the firt prayer and Birthcontrol is performing the amen in the church.  (
here you find last time's review from 2008 where names and history is mentioned.
Contraception still ain't neccessary for the heavenly, extraordinary set, Manni Neumeier presents us with the feeling of Casanova's little toe, beating into our brains....

But as we know - all good things are three, in our case even four, the shivering kamasutra consist of the - just right ingridients, at least  in 147 1/2 positions, hitting us everywhere else but not at the back pain nerves. The variety of musical art is countless and the orgasm is programmed, shooting off several times, no matter if it' s due to the loveable stimulation with the gong, the sensitive rhythm  of the drums or the orgy with all these silveer plated dishes for an individuall sound construction.

It's spiced with the love game in the woods... oh sorry, - it's the floor of course, and dozens of excellent smoothies on 6 strings  - going for - slide it in... either slow and passionate, or  hot and fast....

Including the brass and horn section, the progressive swingerclub is almost perfect, not to forget the mystic aura of the Electro Lurch, which shoots into our veins with at least 200 volts. Without that one, our slippy Tete'a'Tete would not include th tongue melting icing. I mean - every intercourse should include a epiloge.

Well, unfortunately as we all know, even the most wonderful side occupation in the world has got a final shoot off, which wants to be enjoyed  completely to build up new energy afterwards. And this is truly not a matter of age. No indeed the longer our Baron De Rothschild is developing it's taste - year for year and after year, and again and again, the more it taste delicate in our heads.

I use the break inbetween to jump over to the Garage next door, where Crucified Barbara are playing tonight. A few visual and acoustig impressions can be found hier.

Unluckily due to this excursion I miss a little of Birthcontroll's set. But it is clear, that I don't have to mention the very high musical standard of these one's compared to Crucified Barbara... There are more than Galaxies between them...

But never mind now, it's still enough time left to collect the neccessary impresions for a live report. And most important is the fact, they haven't played Gamma Ray yet. Like mentioned before.also within Birthcontroll nothing has changed, fronted by Bernd 'Nossi' Noske on drums and vocals. He is often said to be an orignal -the last one left... but if you're really correct, there was one drummer before him, going off again, before Birthcontroll actually really started. So Nossi holds all strings in his hands...as we say so....

Apart from Nossi, the rest of Birthcontrol consists of a younger generation. But I presume, I don't have to tell you that. Every Krautrock fan knows anyway.. By the way - Krautrock where Guru Guru always takes distance of, but Birthcontroll always have been the flagship of this style and their song Gamma RAy became a very ig hit in the Seventees. And that this song still hasn't lost it's spirit, can be heard in this 25 minutes version we get offered right now and here. I'm also fascinated by the virtuosas guitarplaying by Peter Engelhardt.

Right, I can only repeat myself from my last review, that this here are only top musicians offering us a brilliant performance on the highest musical standard you can possibly get. Yeah well, our old lads  with all their experience are still the best, at least when they show so much encouragement and fun to play, like our two acts do here...

Much too soon our delicate De Ja Vu is history again. Like said before, time doesn't stand still, and even Superman has no eternal condition. But both prehistoric artifacts haven't left any wishes open at us. . It's satisfaction pure in each way. And if anybody complains with the slightest critics, then I'd say he or she  is simply frigid.

PS:  before I forget... these blue eyes... they knock us out... yes of course - just around the Andromeda Galaxy.....
