... and again, like often before here in Munich, several events are happening at the same time on one evening. Of course I prefer the event where I have a photocall anyway, or the one I'm rather interested in. But it's getting difficult, when you wanna see two artists, one because of it's musically skills and the other, like this one here, because you've never seen them before playing live on stage.
Well, and as both venues are situated almost next to each other, I'm trying to get a piece of each cake. All girlband Crucified Barbara  has got the disadvantage because of time reasons, and I catch only 4 songs. Although I left immidiatey the other place when Guru Guru had finished. But I had to stay till the end of their set. Because without the Electro Lurch a Guru Guru concert would not be a Guru Guru concert.
Well then - I've got 20 minutes left to get an impression of these four swedish girls, who have started off in 1998 under the moniker of Crucified Barbara... and this is: Mia Coldheart (Voc/Git), Klara Force (Leadgit.), Ida Evileye (Bass) and Nicki Wicked (Drums).

They've got two albums out so far, which is In Distortion We Trust (2005) and Til Death Do Us Party (2009). Someone said once, these girls are the female Mötley Crüe. Well, I wouldn't really say so, because to be honest the wild rocker image the media has put on this band ain't half that wild on stage. But it is obvious, that the male crowd stands up the front in that case.
Let's put it that way, these girls put on a nice Rock'n'Roll show with a neat view to look at... They've obviously got talent, although I often have felt this lack of energy male artists have got. There ain't no many females who put out the same power. Just to name one or two examples... for instance there is guitarist Ruyter Suys of Nashvill Pussy, who becomes an animal up there on stage, or Sheila E, the extraordinary drummer.
Don't get me wrong... I'm talking less about talents and skills, but more about te stage action, which truly belongs to a Hard- and Heavy concert like the amen in a church.
Like I said before, Crucified Barbara are presenting us an entertaining programm consisting of commerical hardrock, without any  heights, but quite nice, as we say so. Not so much for the advanced rockmusic consumer, but still enough to rock along with a few beers.
That's it... and off we go again back again to the other venue from before, where Birthcontroll are in the middle of their set for the sophisticated musiclover...
