Bet - most people, who's mother tongue ain't english pronounce the name of this band the wrong way. That's what they at least  do here in Germany. And it's pretty amusing, that they won't even believe in the right pronouncation. Yeah, well you all know what this word really means. But in that case it's a unique name of a band, so therefore it's a different story.
And here we are again, with this nice hooded guy from the evening before, when he stood in the very back of the same venue, listening to the rhythm of the Backyard Babies  and holding tight to his beer. .
Today it's a different story, and it's him who is the focus of the happening here, a happening, which is compared to the band from yesterday, rather reminds us on a big band revival. And our dear boys from the Backyard Babies seemed like behaved choirboys behind the eruption of the Popokatapetl. - Well mind me, you can't really compare both musical styles, can you?!  So we leave this, and rather start off with the glowing of our local newcomers of Dust Bolt and the grumbling of Survivors Zero before finally the enourmous erruption
of Hypocrisy evolves.

But let’s start with our Youngsters of Dust Bolt, who some of you might still remember them named  ‚Die Letzten’

Whereby I forgot to ask them why the boys changed their name into Dust Bolt. Never mind now, because apart from the different logo, not much has changed since last September and their Support  for Napalm Death. And I can only repeat myself. They are young, full of energy and want to conquer the world with their explosive mixture of Heavy Metal tunes and with all this hair covering most of their faces. Like I said - it's called glowing in advance this volano here. Yep we are warm... - nu rubbish, not what you think now hey hey... but heated up by the natural charming beating down the walls of Dust Bolt. With a little more routine and a little more thunder growling they will certainly let the lava flow sooner or later.... It has already started to tribble....

Okidok, then we get to the second grumbling in the guts of the volcano which is named Survivors Zero.

They are finnish - yeah of course.... Sometimes I've got the feeling there is no Metal package anymore without at least one finnish act participating. It's like the natural smoke developing and can't be missing at an eruption.
To be honest, I haven't heard much yet of these guys... Hmmm - don't know whether this is a lack of knowledge or not?! But on the other hand, you can't know everything, can you? One thing is for sure. It's former Finntroll frontman Tapie Wilska, who is handling the bass here. And the boss and founder of the band Jami Jämse'n is also the boss of the famous Perkele Studios.
One thing's for sure, that there are some problems what's up to the sound technics. Who knows what went wrong here. In addition to that there is of course the fact, that the ashes produced of this eruption here is rather unknown exept maybe the cover of Kreator's 'People Of The Lie'.
Well what shall I say? This grumbling, apart from the weak acoustic, doesn't sound too bad. But I fear, it's still quite a way 'till a full eruption.

Four years is a long time, in which the Popokatapetl Volcano didn't erupt, - better known as Hypocrisy.

Well, it's about time to explode again... And let's hope the full energy and lava shoots off like a big band again. Hmmmm yesterday at the Backyard Babies gig, little Peter had been very calm and nie, - and yes of course, the beer tastes better in Bavaria than in Sweden and over all it's much cheaper. So what else to wish on an evening off?! - But right now we are very sober again and ready for action - very serious and full of enthusiasm. And the, otherwise so sad looking eyes get a mean glammer, a very mean one...
So what? from the first played tune, the super volcano erupts with the power of 100 nuclear bombs and drowns the more than sold out Backstage Halle with a fire which truly shows the famous dance on the volcano - risk of life included if you're standing right in the moshpit.

Hypocrisy  are currently celebrating their 20th anniversary, and Peter Tägtgren who is actually mainly Hypocricy turns double this age in June. Yes and let's face it, he could easiyl live without his Baby here, because his Abyss studio and the other band project Pain keeps him pretty busy. But, and that's the point - Hypocrisy have not lost their popularity over all those years. That's why it would be a sin to let this band die. And I presume Peter has realized this. Now in the year 2010 it's coming back again with the whole power to shake the Death Metal universe. What I really like on Hypocrisy, is not only the overwhelming aura of Mr. Tägtgren, but also the fact, that the Death Metal of this band has a clear structure. And if it wasn't that hard and non compromising, I could almost name it, - what we call in german - ear worms - without getting sentimental now. A great example is the track 'Fire In The Sky', which goes very well down, like many others here tonight.

The only little thing to criticise is the length of the eruption, which is only about one hour and a little bit. But playing in a band package consisting of 3 or even more acts, this is actually pretty normal. And... how do we name it very nicely? The spice lies in the shortness. (yeah well at least in most things :-) *lol*. However it's clear, that this supernova has taken it's toll and has knocked the kiddies out with the mean look  of the King of Death Metal and tracks like 'Valley Of The Damned', 'Eraser', 'Apocalypse', '4th Dimension' and the final show down, suitable entitled 'The Final Chapter'.

The low sound quality of these clips are not the result of bad sound conditons or a bad Cam. It's rather due to the location right besides the boxes where it was filmed from. And that one could not be changed within this absolutely crowded place.

Apart from the fact, that Mr. Tägtgren ain't that mean in normal life, as what it look it up there, so Hypocrisy and their stage show and music pick up every chlichee  what this genre has to offer.
The volcano has stopped growling, but the heat, the smoke and the echo will still be there for quite a while.

There are only 2 things left to say. First - try to pronounce Hypocricy the right way over here in Germany, and second - and that's for Peter personally: don't let the lava get cold. You know now, - the beer is much better and cheaper over here than in Sweden.
And I think, we all don't wanna stay thirsty, do we?! :-)
