| In
den 70er und 80er Jahren gab es in Österreich im
ORF eine wöchentliche Fernsehsendung namens
„Panoptikum“. Diese
einstündige Reportage spiegelte in etlichen Bildern und Eindrücken
stets
die
vorhergangene Woche wider, ob
in Politik, Entertainment, Mode, Trends oder sonstigem.
Und deshalb habe ich mir jetzt diesen Namen für die neue
Unterseite entliehen, auf der, in zukünftig 2-3monatlichem, Abstand, lustige, kuriose und interessante
Schnappschüsse und Videoclips aus der Welt des Rock’n’Roll gezeigt werden.
Im Gegensatz zum Musicmirror Diary, welches jeweils nur meine
eigenen Backstage-Aftershow Fotos zum jeweiligen Event zeigt,
oder der Gallery, wo vor allem meine Erinnerungsfotos aus
der Vergangenheit abgebildet sind, bevor es Webseiten und
Internet überhaupt gab, gibt’s auf Panoptikum Schnappschüsse
von überall her aus der Welt des Rock’n’Roll, (Natürlich
nur mit ausdrücklicher Genehmigung der jeweiligen Copyright
Holder, wenn sie nicht von mir selbst gemacht worden sind). Das
Ganze dann immer
vom vorhergehenden Monat oder Monaten. – Dabei beschränkt
sich die Thematik nicht nur auf diverse Musiker on- und offstage
selbst, sondern auch auf interessante Plätze, lustige Plakate,
kuriose Räumlichkeiten, Vergleiche von Vergangenheit und
Gegenwart, das Whiskeyglas von XY oder der neueste
Rock’n’Roll Fashion Trend aus L.A.
Von Country Rock bis Blues Rock, von Poprock bis Heavy
Metal, bis hin zur Welt des Films, - einfach alles was von Interesse sein könnte und die
letzten Wochen wider spiegelt. Ein Dank geht vorab schon an jene Fans, Insider und medieninterneI Branchenkenner oder eben das Internet, die mir helfen und es mir ermöglichen, diese Seite ausreichend und abwechslungsreich zu gestalten. Also wünsche ich erst mal viel Spaß und hoffentlich Interesse bei einigen folgenden Eindrücken der vergangenen Zeit, welche nun die Premiere zum Musicmirror – Panoptikum darstellen. – PS:Die Original Melodie der damaligen ORF Sendung "Panoptikum" klingt so 
... und jeder hat sie wahrscheinlich schon einmal gehört......

In
the late Seventies and early Eighties, back in Austria we used
to have a weekly TV program named "Panoptikum. This
one hour feature always reflected the happenings of the past
week, whether it was in politics, entertainment, news and trends.
And I luved it and used to watch it every single week. - That's
why I have borrowed the name Panoptikum for this new little page,
where from now on, I'll put funny, curious and intersting
snapshots from the world of Rock'n'Roll in a 2 or 3 monthly
distance. This is not like the diary aftershow and backstage snapshots, which usually belong to a certain concert, where I've been myself. Or the Gallery, showing all those memories from the past, where internet and websites where still unknown. Panoptikum rather shows various snapshots from around the globe, partly taken by myself, partly taken by other people who of course gave their okay for using them here. And it's not only Musicians - on and off stage, but also interesting places, funny logos and signs, curious locations or comparisons from past to present. Maybe a whiskeyglas from superstar XY, or the newest Rock'n'Roll fashion trend from L.A. - From Countryrock to Bluesrock, from Poprock to Heavy Metal 'till the world of film, - just anything in entertainment which seems interesting and reflects the past weeks and months. This will also be the only page on my website, which is not done only by myself, but also with the help of friends, fans, media partners or just the internet, who actually make it possible to create this page here. So I wish you much fun and hopefully some interest for the following impressions of the past time for this first time on Panoptikum. PS: The original melody of this, in the beginning mentioned austrian TV program "Panoptikum" sounds like this here

Auweia,
da sieht man, wie die Zeit vergeht.... Den kanadischen
Mainstream Rocker Gino Vanelli kennen vielleicht noch einige von
Euch aus den 80er und 90er Jahren, wo er seinen Zenit erreicht
hatte. In München war er Mitte der 90er einmal zu Gast live
on Stage in der Station West in Pasing. Zu jener Zeit hatte der
schöne Gino noch mehr Ähnlichkeit mit dem Foto zur linken. Das
Bild rechts stammt von einem Abstecher in Holland im Juli dieses
Jahres. |

Arena fits in twice the size of Wembley stadion, 12 soccer
fields or 72 tennis courts. You could put in the Eiffeltower
lengthside, and the Niagra Falls would take 15 minutes to fill
the building up with water. It's got an capacity of 18.000 units.
